It's not a scrifice to do the Word of God. It's a blessing.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Recently I was speaking with a woman and I mentioned doing Psalm 1 and Joshus 1:8 and all we would do would prosper.

She said something like, "But we have to lay down our lives."

I stopped a minute:  I never think of it as giving up my life to find the way of God ... Finding the way of God is my life.  The other way is a way of death.

So to me, doing Psalm 1 and Joshua 1:8 is not a sacrifice but rather it is a blessing to me.

As I spoke to her about this, she saw it as a blessing.

The word of God is always a blessing for it causes us to go in the way of God which is right.

We hurt ourselves by going in the way of this world.

Therefore the way of God is not a sacrifice but is a blessing.

Psalm 1 ...

1 Blessed is the man
that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor standeth in the way of sinners,
nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord;
and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

(blessed means:  divinely favored & protected)

Joshua 1:8 ...

8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein:for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
