Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
II Kings 10:1-11 And Ahab had seventy sons in Samaria. And Jehu (king of Israel) wrote letters, and sent to Samaria, unto the rulers of Jezreel, to the elders, and to them that brought up Ahab's children, saying,
2 Now as soon as this letter cometh to you, seeing your master's sons are with you, and there are with you chariots and horses, a fenced city also, and armour;
3 Look even out the best and meetest of your master's sons, and set him on his father's throne, and fight for your master's house.
4 But they were exceedingly afraid, and said, Behold, two kings stood not before him: how then shall we stand?
5 And he that was over the house, and he that was over the city, the elders also, and the bringers up of the children, sent to Jehu, saying, We are thy servants, and will do all that thou shalt bid us; we will not make any king: do thou that which is good in thine eyes.
6 Then he (Jehu) wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, If ye be mine, and if ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master's sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king's sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up.
7 And it came to pass, when the letter came to them, that they took the king's sons, and slew seventy persons, and put their heads in baskets, and sent him them to Jezreel.
8 And there came a messenger, and told him (told Jehu), saying, They have brought the heads of the king's sons. And he (Jehu, the king) said, Lay ye them in two heaps at the entering in of the gate until the morning.
9 And it came to pass in the morning, that he (king Jehu) went out, and stood, and said to all the people, Ye be righteous: behold, I conspired against my master, and slew him: but who slew all these?
10 Know now that there shall fall unto the earth nothing of the word of the Lord, which the Lord spake concerning the house of Ahab: for the Lord hath done that which he spake by his servant Elijah.
11 So Jehu slew all that remained of the house of Ahab in Jezreel, and all his great men, and his kinsfolks, and his priests, until he left him none remaining.

About Ahab:
I Kings 21:25 But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the Lord, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.
26 And he did very abominably in following idols, according to all things as did the Amorites, whom the Lord cast out before the children of Israel.

God told Elijah to anoint Jehu and that he would destroy Ahab's house.
I Kings 19:15-17 And the Lord said unto him (to Elijah), Go, return on thy way to the wilderness of Damascus: and when thou comest, anoint Hazael to be king over Syria:
16 And Jehu the son of Nimshi shalt thou anoint to be king over Israel: and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abelmeholah shalt thou anoint to be prophet in thy room.
17 And it shall come to pass, that him that escapeth the sword of Hazael shall Jehu slay: and him that escapeth from the sword of Jehu shall Elisha slay.
God takes vengeance upon the house of Ahab, the evil king, and Jezebel, Ahab's evil wife.

In the churches today, we see great wickedness as they depart from the scriptures, The Word, Jesus, and follow other gods of their own minds, and do what pleases them, disregarding scripture.
It can discourage us when we see this.
Jesus said: Matthew 24:12-13 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
But when we see God dealing with the unjust in the Old Testament don't we understand that the wicked in the churches today will not escape?
Work very diligently to stay on the path of God which HE lays out by HIS Spirit and do not be swept away by the wicked in the churches of today.
For the wrath of God does come upon the wicked. As we have seen in the OT, it will happen today to the wicked in the churches.
I Thessalonians 5:1-3 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
It is hard to see how few in churches follow scripture.
It is what Jesus said in Matthew 7:13-14:
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

A woman came across our path saying she is a "Messianic Jew". She revealed she is twice divorced and she was excited because another man had come into her life.
Pam Padgett told her the scripture showing if the divorced woman remarried she commits adultery and the man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery. (Matthew 5:32 Jesus said: But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.)
This woman said: "But I am a Messianic Jew and we have our own doctrine."
Jesus says to those Jews who believe on HIM:
If ye continue in MY word, then are ye MY disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:31-32)
If ye continue in MY word, then are ye MY disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:31-32)
This woman says they believe Jesus is the Messiah but they have their own doctrine and therefore do not go by the Holy Bible. (Jesus, the Word)
She is one of the many today who is turned over by God to a strong delusion that they would believe a lie and be damned before God at the judgment seat of Christ where we will all be judged by The Word.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
***
This is very difficult to see, but it is everywhere in today's churches, Protestant & Catholic.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;
At the judgment seat of Christ we will be judged by the Holy Bible, The Word of God.
