* God arranges for the death of Ahab, evil king of Israel, and for his evil wife, Jezebel.

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

I Kings 22:1   And they continued three years without war between Syria and Israel.

(Three years have passed since Jezebel had Naboth killed to get his vineyard for Ahab.  But God has not forgotten.  It may take a little time but God brings HIS judgment to the wrong doers.)

***

In approximately 1982, I witnessed Robert Tilton killing a prophet.  She, the prophet, was from Tilton's own church group.  She called me on the phone and was weeping.  She said, just before they went on camera for Tilton's TV show, he said to her:  "Just one thing ... Don't say anything about being a prophet because it's not popular."

I was furious!  I delivered a message to Robert Tilton telling him because he did this, he killed a prophet, his, Tilton's house, would be left desolate  according to the following scripture:

Matthew 23:37-38    O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!  38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

I didn't see Robert Tilton again after this.

***

Then the following to happened to Robert Tilton for all to see:

On November 21, 1991, on ABC Primetime Live, a news expose, aired concerning Robert Tilton.

The main thing I recall is how Robert Tilton had asked people to send him their prayer requests and how the envelopes were forwarded unopened to a bank account in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where bank employees opened the prayer request letters, and removed any money sent along with the request, and deposited the money in Tilton's bank account, and they threw the prayer request into the garbage dumpsters behind the bank in Tulsa.

I consider it ridiculous for ministers to ask people to send their prayer requests to a minister, for those people in the congregations should pray directly to God through Jesus Christ and not through a minister.

Of course, I also know how foolish it would be to even think you, as a minister, could pray an effective, fervent prayer over thousands or even hundreds or even 5 or 10, prayer requests.

It is all a fund raising gimmick.  (and a great abomination in the sight of God)

***

According to ABC Prime Time Live, Robert Tilton was taking in over 80-million dollars a year through prayer requests and his TV shows.

This all disintegrated in 1991 with the airing of the ABC news expose about Tilton.

During the years folowing the ABC report, the following happened:

* Tilton and his wife divorced.
* A church member sued Tilton for fraud.
* His church broke apart and the church building was finally torn completely down and a youth hockey center placed where the church had met and there was no sign a church had ever met at that location.
* Tilton married a second wife ... adultery against his first wife.  (Matthew 5:32)
* Tilton and second wife divorced and Tilton married his 3rd wife.
* At some point in all this, Tilton moved to Florida where he tried to produce another TV show which turned into fund raising for a large portion of the TV show, according to ABC news.  (reported on Wikipedia)
* By last report, Tilton had closed operations in Florida and had purchased an hotel in Culver City, California

Robert Tilton's house was left desolate to him.

I knew it was because years earlier, 1982, Robert Tilton killed a prophet and sought personal greatness.

Be assured.  Your sins will find you out.

This is just one of the ministers.

Other terrible scandals also occurred.  One with Jim Bakker and another with Jimmy Swaggart.

And the greatest judgment is yet to come for all of us:

II Corinthians 5:10-11    For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;

***

God is going to destroy Ahab and Jezebel:

I Kings 22:2-7
And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to the king of Israel.  And the king of Israel said unto his servants, Know ye that Ramoth in Gilead is ours, and we be still, and take it not out of the hand of the king of Syria?

And he (Ahab) said unto Jehoshaphat, Wilt thou go with me to battle to Ramothgilead?

And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, I am as thou art, my people as thy people, my horses as thy horses.

And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray thee, at the word of the Lord to day.

***

I Kings 22:6-8    Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear?

And they said, Go up; for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the Lord besides, that we might enquire of him?

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, Micaiah the son of Imlah, by whom we may enquire of the Lord: but I hate him; for he doth not prophesy good concerning me, but evil.

And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

***

I Kings 22:9-13   Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, Hasten hither Micaiah the son of Imlah.

And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne, having put on their robes, in a void place in the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets prophesied before them.

(But these were not prophets of God)

And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the Lord, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them.

And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the Lord shall deliver it into the king's hand.

And the messenger that was gone to call Micaiah
(the prophet of God) spake unto him, saying, Behold now, the words of the prophets declare good unto the king with one mouth: let thy word, I pray thee, be like the word of one of them, and speak that which is good.

***

How can anyone presume to tell a prophet of God what he is to speak?

If that person can tell you, a prophet, what to speak, then why should you speak at all?

I had been very popular on radio when I started out in 1980.  God had me speaking topics such as Taking Thoughts Captive, Following God by HIS Spirit, and such.

Then in 1982, I heard the following words:  "The foundation is laid ... now we're really going to move."

After that word, God said to me:  "The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God."

Then God began showing me sins that were being committed by big-time radio and television ministers.

When I couldn't get a message to these preachers, I began speaking these judgment messages from God about them on my radio broadcasts, naming the minister by name and telling of the sin that he was committing.

Then that minister got the message.

At that time, I went into each of my radio cities and had a meeting for the radio audience.

In Seattle, the radio station manager was waiting for me outside the meeting room.  He said to me, "Joan ... you have many good messages.  Just speak those messages.  If you continue to speak these judgment messages, I don't know what is going to happen to you.  We might have to put you off the air."

The Holy Spirit arose in me to say the following to this radio station manager:

"George ... if I don't speak the message that I believe to be from God, then I don't have a message, and I may as well be off the air."

***

People often presume that they can tell a prophet what to speak.  They also presume that they are capable of judging what message is "good" and what message is "bad".

Correction messages almost always seem bad to the wrong doers, but not to God.

That is what happened in the case of the prophet of God who spoke to king Ahab.

***

I Kings 22:14  And Micaiah (the prophet of God) said,   As the Lord liveth, what the Lord saith unto me, that will I speak.

***

I Kings 22:15-23   So he came to the king (to Ahab). And the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go against Ramothgilead to battle, or shall we forbear?

And he answered him, Go, and prosper: for the Lord shall deliver it into the hand of the king.

And the king said unto him, How many times shall I adjure thee that thou tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the Lord?

And he
(the prophet) said,   I saw all Israel scattered upon the hills, as sheep that have not a shepherd: and the Lord said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.

18   And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat,   Did I not tell thee that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?

And he (the prophet) said, Hear thou therefore the word of the Lord:

I saw the Lord sitting on HIS throne, and all the host of heaven standing by HIM on HIS right hand and on HIS left.

And the Lord said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.

And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will persuade him.

And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith?

And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.

And HE (the Lord) said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.

Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee.

***

I Kings 22:24-28   But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah (the prophet of God) on the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the Lord from me to speak unto thee?

And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself.

And the king of Israel (Ahab) said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back unto Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son;  And say, Thus saith the king, Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace.

And Micaiah (the prophet) said, If thou return at all in peace, the Lord hath not spoken by me.

And he said, Hearken, O people, every one of you.

Ahab was not going to return at all for God was going to have Ahab killed in the battle.

***

I Kings 22:29-36   So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead.

And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself, and enter into the battle; but put thou on thy robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself, and went into the battle.

But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, Surely it is the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him: and Jehoshaphat cried out.

And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots perceived that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned back from pursuing him.

And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: wherefore he
(Ahab the king) said unto the driver of his chariot, Turn thine hand, and carry me out of the host; for I am wounded.

And the battle increased that day: and the king was stayed up in his chariot against the Syrians, and died at even: and the blood ran out of the wound into the midst of the chariot.

And there went a proclamation throughout the host about the going down of the sun, saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country.

***

I Kings 22:37-38   So the king died, and was brought to Samaria; and they buried the king in Samaria.

And one washed the chariot in the pool of Samaria; and the dogs licked up his blood; and they washed his armour; according unto the word of the Lord which he spake.

The prophecy concerning Ahab was fulfilled, for the dogs licked up Ahab's blood as the prophet Elijah said would happen to Ahab as follows:

I Kings 21:19    In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.

(Naboth was the man Jezebel had killed so Ahab could have his vineyard to plant herbs.)

***

I Kings 22:39-40
Now the rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that he did, and the ivory house which he made, and all the cities that he built, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.

***

I Kings 22:41-53  And Jehoshaphat the son of Asa (the good king) began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.

Jehoshaphat was thirty and five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty and five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Azubah the daughter of Shilhi.

And he
(Jehoshaphat) walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he turned not aside from it, doing that which was right in the eyes of the Lord: nevertheless the high places were not taken away; for the people offered and burnt incense yet in the high places.

And Jehoshaphat made peace with the king of Israel.

Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, and his might that he shewed, and how he warred, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he (Jehosaphat) took out of the land.

The sodomites are the homosexuals.

There was then no king in Edom: a deputy was king.

Jehoshaphat made ships of Tharshish to go to Ophir for gold: but they went not; for the ships were broken at Eziongeber.

Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not.

And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Jehoram his son reigned in his stead.

Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and reigned two years over Israel.

And he (Ahaziah) did evil in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the way of his father (Ahab), and in the way of his mother (Jezebel), and in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin:

For he served Baal, and worshipped him, and provoked to anger the Lord God of Israel, according to all that his father had done.
