Pray always

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Luke 18 … 1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; 2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. 4 And he would not for a while:but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; 5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me. 6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith. 7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Jesus is showing that things will get so bad on the earth before HE returns that many will lose faith in God.

Heb. 10 … 23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another:and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Godly exhortations are very important for us to hold on to our faith in God as Jesus’ return nears.

We may not understand “why”, but we do see in the scriptures to do these exhortations and so much the more, as we see the day approaching.

By the removal of many doctrines from the churches and by the approval of various sins in both churches and the world, we see the day of the Lord drawing nearer.
