Way of the world is to bind itself to "tomorrow"

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

If you think of tomorrow, and make plans for tomorrow, and tell people what you will to "tomorrow", you may end up binding yourself to something you find you really do not want to do.

Recently a woman told me of a topping she had made for salmon.  She said, "Tomorrow I will bring some over to you."

When I went to bed, I found I was very disturbed over her plan.  I finally got out of bed and sent her email and told her I needed to rest and I didn't think I would be able to do that for thinking of someone coming to my house.

She sent email saying it was probably better for her to rest also for she ended up working in her yard and was really tired from all that work.

When we live today ... thinking of today ... we eliminate a lot of needless planning and troublesome activities.

We don't know what tomorrow will bring ... so why plan for tomorrow?

We trouble ourselves... and often others also with our plans.

Jesus said:   Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? 26 Behold the fowls of the air:for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? 27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? 28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? 31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? 32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. 34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow:for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.  Mt. 6

Unlike the world, we live by faith in God today, allowing God to make the plans for us, allowing ourselves to be led by God today, and taking no thought for tomorrow as a little child, thinking of today, of the moment in which we live today.

Much sorrow is eliminated when we live as a little child, trusting in God this way.

Also pay very close attention to the following:

Mt. 18 ... 1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? 2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

You will not enter the kingdom of heaven unless you "become as little children", says Jesus

A little child trusts his parents ...  (in most cases) ... The little child cannot provide for himself.  He depends on his parents for everything.  He does not take over as soon as he can walk and go out and try to provide for himself.  Many say Jesus is Lord and say they believe in God but they trust in themselves, in their own minds and their own thinking.

Unless you be converted from the way of humans ... and develop inside you a very deep understanding that God is in charge of you at all times, then you cannot become as little children and you will not enter into the kingdom of heaven trusting in yourself and providing for yourself.
