Malachi 3
2 But who may abide the day of HIS coming? and who shall stand when HE appeareth? for HE is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
3 And HE shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and HE shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.
God says ...
5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not ME, saith the Lord of hosts.
God, and Jesus, will witness against everyone who goes in a way against the Word, the scriptures.

People often think they can say "Jesus is Lord" and they will be fine to do whatever they want to do.
But they deceive themselves thinking they are all right and Jesus says don't let them deceive us.
Matthew 24 (Jesus speaking concerning the last days:)
Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
In the Bible we read the devils also believe in God and tremble. They know their day of judgment is coming against them and they will not fare wall. (James 2:19)
Neither will anyone do well in the day of judgment when living on this earth "against specific scripture".
We must agree with scripture and conform our lives to scriptures.

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;

God is not going to accept us if we cast aside scripture while we live on this earth for scripture, The Word, is Jesus. So to reject Bible is to reject Jesus.

Before the great tribulation and the return of Jesus and the end of this present world:
Luke 21 Jesus says:
26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
29 And HE spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
30 When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
(The increase of wickedness on this earth precedes the coming of the wrath of God on this earth, and the coming of Jesus to remove from this earth those who believe in HIS Word.)
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.
33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but MY words shall not pass away.
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting (over indulgence), and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Pray always, means pray daily, second by second, over things that trouble you ... Prayer connects us to God and makes us worthy to escape because we have connected ourselves to God.

Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars;
Joel 2:31-32 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered:
When the sun goes dark in the middle of the day, we will know where we are in time.
Jesus then comes to gather HIS saints, but HIS saints are not those who reject scripture in the churches.
HIS saints love scripture and follow scriptures and conform their lives by the instructions given in the scripture.
