Malachi 1
6 ... If then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the Lord of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name (The Word). And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?
7 Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of the Lord is contemptible.
They despise the food given by God, therefore "The table of the Lord is contemptible" to them.
Like the children of Israel in the wilderness despised manna from God, today these church groups and their ministers despise portions of the Word of God given in the New Testament Bible.
They show they despise various part of the scriptures so they explain away those verses and set up another doctrine.
Today the ministers hate such things as Matthew 5:32 where Jesus says: The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
These same ministers hate I Corinthians 7:10-11 where Paul speaks a word that he says is "a commandment of the Lord" ...
10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: 11 But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

The vast majority of churches today approve marriage with a divorced woman. They approve the divorced woman remarrying. They set up another doctrine allowing various sins in the congregations.
These churches are the end time falling away spoken of by the apostle Paul where Paul says Jesus cannot return until this "falling away" occurs and antichrist appears in the churches.
Church groups would fall away from scriptures.
That is what we see today.
II Thessalonians 2
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

So where is God's honor? Where is God's fear? When the ministers and congregations cast aside portions of scripture and set up contrary doctrines in the church.
As they cast aside scripture, they cast Jesus, the Word, away from their church group.
