Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
We hope not to be here during the great tribulation, but the Bible does show us some of the elect of God will still be on this present earth at the time of the great tribulation, for Jesus tells us in Matthew 24 that if the days were not shortened, none of the elect would be saved. But for the elect's sake, the days will be shortened.
Matthew 24
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

The plagues of the great tribulation are listed for us in the scriptures starting with Revelation 8 and going though Revelation 16.
One of those plagues will last five months!
(We were shut up 3 months during Coronavirus and some of us had difficulty lasting that short time.)
The plagues of the great tribulation could last for years!
One by one, these woes come upon this earth.
Revelation 8
6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
(No one knows how long this plague continued. It was from God and could not be stopped by man.)
8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
(Again, no one know the length of time: an hour, a day, months, even years, but to see this happen and to make adjustments to live on this earth and to endure will be difficult beyond any problem that has ever happened before on this earth.)
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
The next woe is going to really be incredibly bad, for this would likely affect growing seasons and could cause famines.
12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
In addition to the next four plagues, we have the 7 angels who pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon this earth before this earth is finally destroyed by fire by God.

We have just seen shocking things all over this world through this Coronavirus which should have awakened us to great plagues that are coming.
In the time of the great tribulation, it will be one plague after another. Amos describes it as follow.
Amos 5
18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the Lord! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is darkness, and not light.
19 As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.
20 Shall not the day of the Lord be darkness, and not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?

When we know there is an end in sight, it is easier to endure. But there will be no end in sight during the great tribulation for there are 14 plagues, one after another, and we know one of those plagues is 5-months long but the other plagues have no set time and could go on for years. Endurance will be a very big problem. We read: And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them. Revelation 9:6

During Coronavirus, we have seen violence and terrible evils of man unleashed during May and June 2020, by the killing of a black man by police, and by the mass protests, and by the looting of businesses. Some of us were briefly caught up by watching these evils on television which "invited" viewers to take sides and to take part in the hatred on one side or the other.
I Timothy 5:22 neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.
I Timothy 5:22 neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.
We must not allow ourselves to participate in their hatred.
We must realize both sides are evil.
We must live in peace and goodness even in the midst of the evils of this world.

The apostle Peter said to us:
II Peter 3
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (We will not have righteousness on this earth.)
So between now and the coming plagues of the great tribulation we must work daily to live in peace, without spot and blameless.
Starting June 6, 2020, an intensification of messages began on blog and through my Podcasts.
We must focus on how we are to live and keep ourselves as we wait for the return of Jesus.
