* This current earth will never be righteous ... but the new heaven and new earth will be righteous! Keep your eyes on that!

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

If we look for righteousness on this current earth, we can become discouraged, despondent, and even back away from faith in God.

The apostle Peter told us this current heaven and earth will be destroyed by God.

II Peter 3:10-12   But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

And Peter said:  "We, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness."  II Peter 3:13

In Hebrews 10, we read:  knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.  (v.34)

It is dangerous to allow ourselves to focus on this present world and that which the people of this world are doing.  For this world will grow worse and worse.  (II Timothy 3:13)  We cannot help seeing this truth if we see TV commercials.  I'm amazed at how vile some of these have become.  I had to put my hands over my eyes recently in order not to see what they were doing on screen.

Hebrews 10:35-39    Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.  For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

For yet a little while, and HE that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
