II Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Recently I spoke with an acquaintance, telling her how very good my life is and how simply I live.
She replied, "It is that way because you live in peace."
(I was surprised she recognized this.)
We live in peace of God when we follow God and obey God, serving God, speaking that which God has said to us, working always to please God.
We also avoid many of the complexities of this life knowing that God's way is often that simple way.
Through prayer, God settles our hearts and shows us HIS way.
We choose not to go against God's way and we back off when we see another way before us.
