* God has the way prepared for us and all that we need ready for us to go in that way!

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

We who belong to God are cared for by God and everything fits into place without our planning it.  God has it worked out and provides information and needs which even circumvent all our reasonings along the way.

Often we even try to reason away facts that would lead us in the way of God as we try to make our decisions, but God overcome us in that and takes us as HE would have us go.

There is a very interesting example for us in Genesis 24.

God gave Abraham a bit of knowledge which would end up being important to him later.

When we first read this, we probably skipped over it and failed to see what had happened.  Lets look again now.

Abraham has just been tested concerning Isaac ... and has passed the test.  Genesis 22

Next comes this information:

Genesis 22:20-24    And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor;  Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram,  And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel. And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother.  And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, she bare also Tebah, and Gaham, and Thahash, and Maachah.

Then the next report is this:  Genesis 23:1-2   And Sarah was an hundred and seven and twenty years old: these were the years of the life of Sarah.  And Sarah died

Abraham selects the tomb for Sarah and buys the land with the tomb and buries Sarah.

Next:  Genesis 24:1  And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.

Now Abraham wants a wife for his son Isaac.

2-4   And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh:  And I will make thee swear by the Lord, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell:  But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac.

Abraham is very concerned for he recalls how God removed him from that land and he does not want Isaac brought into that land of his ancestors ... The servant of Abraham shows his concern at this point.

5-6   And the servant said unto him, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this land: must I needs bring thy son again unto the land from whence thou camest?

And Abraham said unto him, Beware thou that thou bring not my son thither again.

The Lord God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the land of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this land; HE shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence.

And if the woman will not be willing to follow thee, then thou shalt be clear from this my oath: only bring not my son thither again.

Three times Abraham returns to his concern over Isaac in this matter, telling the servant, "But do not take Isaac into the land of my ancestors."

Yet Abraham has an assurance that God will go ahead of that servant and provide a wife for Isaac from Abraham's people who still live in that land.

How is it that Abraham has such assurance?

God had already provided this information to Abraham telling him of those persons born to his ancestors while he was away, cited in Genesis 22:20-24 ...  And it came to pass after these things, that it was told Abraham, saying, Behold, Milcah, she hath also born children unto thy brother Nahor;  Huz his firstborn, and Buz his brother, and Kemuel the father of Aram,  And Chesed, and Hazo, and Pildash, and Jidlaph, and Bethuel. And Bethuel begat Rebekah: these eight Milcah did bear to Nahor, Abraham's brother. And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, she bare also Tebah, and Gaham, and Thahash, and Maachah.

So by this word given to Abraham, he knows a wife awaits Isaac in his brother's house.

We see that in the above paragraph God has even said to Abraham:    "And Bethuel begat Rebekah"

The woman who will be Isaac's wife is there waiting.  Rebekah

The only thing needed is for Abraham to send his servant there to pick Rachel up and to bring her back for Isaac.

In the New Testament church, God gives the spiritual gift, "word of knowledge."  I Corinthians 12:8

A bit of knowledge about an issue just pops into our mind.

Later the Holy Spirit reminds us of that knowledge and we know what to do.
