When we are born again we have various memories of God revealing HIMSELF to us which are used to sustain our belief in God just as Jesus showed himself to the disciples with many "infallible proofs" in the following scripture.
Acts 1:3 To whom also He shewed Himself alive after His passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
In times of temptations or troubles, I am often reminded of something God has done where I am concerned to show Jesus. And this sustains my faith in God.
