Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
From
2005 through 2011, I played duplicate bridge at our local Bridge Center.
I often
wanted to leave and quit bridge.
One of
my partner’s once said, “To leave you
need first to have somewhere else to go.”
I knew
this was not “by faith”, for when you make changes “by faith” you have to
believe that God will work out future.
Here is
an example of going out when the man had no instruction concerning “where” to
go.
Genesis 12 … Now
the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy
kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And
I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name
great; and thou shalt be a blessing:3 And I will bless them that bless thee,
and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be
blessed. 4 So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him;
Sometimes
we go out and wait on God “by faith” not knowing where we can go.
I left
the Bridge Center in 2011. I had no
activities to take up my time. I just
stayed at home and did my usual work which was communicating by email with
people on my small mailing list, speaking what I felt God had given me to
exhort the church.
After 7
months of waiting, God gave me a dream.
At the end of March, 2012, in a dream,
there was a woman singing. I said, “It’s
not a great voice but it is a nice little voice.” And I saw a way to communicate as the church,
sharing with one another as Paul said to do in I Cor. 14.
God
showed me by the dream to start a blog on Internet.
Pam
Padgett, in our little church group, had just retired as a computer programmer
from Fed Ex.
I
called Pam and asked her if she could set up a blog for us.
She
said she knew nothing about setting up blogs but she was willing to try to do
this. She prayed and felt she needed to
make the blog as simple as possible.
Within
3 days, we had a blog on Internet and were publishing exhortations from God.
It was
so exciting to me.
“It was a nice little voice …”
The blog cost no money to publish. We had no limitations and could write as much
as God gave us each day. Godly people
could also share as God led them.
The one
thing that really surprised us in the first day we published on the blog, there
were 2 page views from Germany. None of
us had realized the blog went all over the World … WWW … World Wide Web.
This
allowed us to fulfill several scriptures:
Hebrews 3 … 13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called
To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we
are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence
stedfast unto the end;
Hebrews 10 …
23 Let us hold
fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for HE is faithful that
promised;) 24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good
works:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of
some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the
more, as ye see the day approaching.
26 For if we sin
wilfully after that we have received the
knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a
certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall
devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses 'law died without mercy under
two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer
punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot
the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was
sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30
For we know HIM that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense,
saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31 It is a fearful
thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Jesus
said: Concerning the last days …
Mt. 24 … 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax
cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be
saved.
The
love “for the Word of God” will wax cold because people will see so much
“iniquity” around them.
The
church world will become cold toward the Word of God … consider all the
approved fornication and the adultery of remarriage after divorce and how
churches today approve the evil of man and the church turns aside from the
scriptures and explains away Bible in order to approve sin in the
congregation. If you sit among these
groups, you can “fall asleep” … If you don’t watch, and if you are surrounded
by unbelievers, you, too can become hardened against the Bible.
It is also very difficult when we run into cold, self-centered people. I recently had this happen when I was trying to work through a problem with my phone and internet. I had to go to the ATT store, where many had been nice to me in past, but this time I was waited on by a man who just didn't care. He tried to get rid of me. I asked him if I could speak with another worker there. He didn't want to do that. He then decided to help me But when I left the store, I felt I was in danger of being swept away by this iniquity shown by this man. I prayed that I not be destroyed.
By this I had a glimpse into what Paul meant by following:
II Tim. 3 ... This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves,
Therefore
we are told to exhort one another “daily” … and even “more” as we see the day
of the Lord approaching.
We are so excited for the blog allows us to do these things instantly, all around the
world!
It is
indeed a “nice little voice”.
Jesus Ministries Exhortation is the blog
name.
