Making yourself wiser than God

Joan Boney ... apostle / prophet

Leviticus 10 ...   1 And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the Lord, which HE commanded them not.

2 And there went out fire from the Lord, and devoured them, and they died before the Lord.

3 Then Moses said unto Aaron, This is it that the Lord spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace. 4 And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp. 5 So they went near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp; as Moses had said.

When a man adds something to the church that man glorifies himself and exalts himself showing himself that he is even smarter, wiser, than God.  Characteristics of antichrist II Thess. 2 ... 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Some of the things added to the church service today:  lighting of candles in Catholic church, praying to Mary rather than to God, calling crackers and grape juice "The Lord's Supper" when the Lord's supper is eating and drinking the word of God.

Anytime we add our ideas to that which God has said to us, we glorify ourselves.

Adding to the things of God is deadly.  I've heard pastors do such things over and over as they have thought nothing to add their own images to the Word of God, perverting the word of God by their images.  They have no respect for God and HIS word when they do this.  Also they have no fear of God.  They just want to show themselves to be wise, even wiser than God.
