Mark 14:12 And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the passover, his disciples said unto him (Jesus), Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover? 13 And he sendeth
forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city,
and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.
14 And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house,
The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the
passover with my disciples?
15 And he will shew you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us.
16 And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
When God leads us to do something, we find that what is needed to do the work is available as we take each
step shown to us by the Holy Spirit. We are sometimes amazed as we find how the way is prepared before us.
It still causes me to marvel in God to recall how HE showed us to start this blog and how we found the way
prepared for us ...
A little more than three years ago Joan was shown in a dream to
start this blog and she asked me to set it up. At the time I didn't
know what a blog was, and prayed asking God how to do this. Step by
step I was shown what a blog was and how to set it up.
There were multiple blog publishing services, each with tools and
templates to use. As I prayed about which service to use for this blog I kept having the thought that we needed a
"simple" blog. The important thing is the messages, not having
an elaborate page nor such things as animation. Blogger had a template
that allowed us to setup a very simple, straight-forward blog page.
As I looked into Blogger more, I was surprised that computers for the blog were already in place and available, there was no
charge for setting up and having a blog here, and we could publish as much as we wanted.
This amazed me! When I had worked as a computer programmer, one of the
first things we needed to do when starting a new project was to make
sure we had computers to run what we developed. Often projects were
delayed until funding for new computers was secured and the computers
were purchased and setup. So having all of this already taken care of was more than I ever imagined possible.
Starting this blog was like walking through a gate, going step by step
as led by the Holy Spirit, entering into what was already prepared. Within a couple days after Joan had the dream showing to do this, the blog was setup and we were using it.
And since the internet is already in place and reaches countries around
the world, the blog began to be read by people in various countries.
The worldwide reach of the blog hadn't initially occurred to us and we
were delighted to see this.
Then when we needed a way to help people find the blog and prayed about
this, we were led to purchase ads. We had plenty of money to purchase
the ads. And we learned the ads link easily with Blogger.
The way was completely prepared when God gave the dream showing to start this blog. Even things we had no idea would be
needed were already in place.
Starting the blog was not our own idea. But when God showed us to do this, we simply took each step we were shown to
take by God.
