* Psalm 1: We become "like a tree" when we meditate day and night in the Word of God

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Which scriptures are you trying to live at this point in time?  Keep those scriptures before you day and night to give you strength.  Examine yourself by those scriptures to be sure you are doing the instructions given in those scriptures daily.

Each of us must do the following:

Philippians 4:6

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Which ideas are from God?

James 3

17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

When Jesus returns, HE must find us in peace, without spot and blameless.  We must learn to this this way every day of our lives since we do not know when Jesus will return.

II Peter 3

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

When a person weighs us down and burdens us, we cannot live in peace and be with that person.

Pray for wisdom in how to deal in such a situation.  For myself, God has taught me to just walk away from such and resist the temptation to communicate with such.

To have the strength to do this, I had to keep before me the following instructions day and night.

Titus 3

10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

After warning such a person once or twice, then I must "reject" that person, walk away from such and stop trying to communicate with that person.  (no phone calls, no emails, no luncheons, no visiting ... just leave that person alone... no entanglement with that person's many excuses and many words... just quietly walk away.)
