I had such an extremely difficult day yesterday, working through many problems with individuals who call themselves Christians.
At one point, around 2 pm, I cried out to God: "Please restore my joy before the sun goes down."
About an hour later, I received an email from a woman who was considering getting a kitten. I was immediately filled with joy!
Then I realized God had restored my joy before the sun went down just as I had asked HIM to do.
