Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
The Word that comes down to us from heaven is that Word God brings to us concerning the issues of this present life.
By HIS Spirit, by the Spirit of Jesus, God speaks to us today to show us what to do as we make decisions concerning the way to go in various situations of this life.
God sees everything: past, present, future.
Nothing is hidden from God.
In 1975, a young woman took me to court. I believe this young woman thought she saw a way to get a lot of money from me so she filed a charge against me in my business that I had at that time.
At the beginning of the issue, I heard a word which I believed to be from God: "Don't testify."
This word brought trouble! Several people on my own side were angry with me over my decision not to testify. But every time I prayed, asking God to confirm this word as being from HIM, I heard the same thing: "Don't testify."
I have a strong fear of the Lord. If I believe God has told me something, I inwardly know it could be disastrous for me if I chose to go another way.
I did not testify. We won the court case. But it looked as if I were going the wrong way. At one point, my lawyer said to me, "Joan ... Flo's testimony wasn't as strong as I had hoped for but if you will testify I know we will win this case."
I told Gordon I would see. And I went into the ladies room at the court house and prayed a third time and again I heard, "Don't testify."
I continued in the direction that I believed God to be showing me.
The only thing that matters in any situation is that we do that which we believe to be from God.
To go in any other way would be fool hardy.
Psalm 111:10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
If we fear God, we will do what we believe God has said. If we fear man, we will do that which we believe man has said. Though 3 people on my own side went against me in this matter, I had a fear of God so I had to do that which I believed God had told me to do. It is the only safe way to go.

On occasion, I have been tempted to say or do something that would be hypocritical in order to get my own way with my own reasoning.
But I know the following scripture:
James 3:17 The wisdom that is from above is ... without hypocrisy.
So no matter how much I want to go that way, I don't dare go against this wisdom shown in James 3:17.
***
It is so important to have an healthy fear of the Lord ... fear of God ... fear of the word of God.
***
Proverbs 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
It is very good to know that you don't know what is best for you. For then you will likely turn to God in prayer asking HIM what you should do.
It is just too dangerous to reason things out with our own minds!
Nothing is hidden from God and we might have lots of things hidden from ourselves by the wise men of this world who lie in wait to deceive us.
***
Don't compromise scripture for it is often scripture which keeps us free.
Scripture causes those people who are not of God to leave us when they see what we are going to do.
We are shielded by following scripture. When God says a certain thing and we choose that way, our flesh is put down and we go in the way of true life.

Philippians 2:5-8 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, HE humbled Himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Sometimes that way that seems like an abundant life is really the highway of death and destruction.
Safety is in the following:
I Timothy 6:5-12 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
(Separate from those people who think gain is a sign of godliness for they will influence you in the wrong way.)
But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
17-19 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate: Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate: Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Matthew 6:24-34 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
(Can you get an inch taller by thinking about it? Better to turn to God, "Not my will but Thy will be done.", letting God work it out.)
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall HE not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. 33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
(What is going to happen tomorrow? Pray about tomorrow. Take godly action over today after prayer.)

Pay attention to those words which God has given you, those words which come down from heaven to you by HIS Spirit.
Matthew 7:24-27 Jesus says: whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
