Does God rule over the kings of the nations of men?
Here is an excellent example from the Bible.

God is in charge!
How can God control these men?
God can simply give that ruler an idea, putting it directly into his mind.

In WWII, Hitler had England on the ropes. Then for an "unexplainable" reason, Hitler changed his plan!
(Yet not really unexplainable when we understand that God can just put another idea into the mind of the ruler and turn him another way and even destroy the ruler and save the persecuted by that turn made by the ruler. It is all of God!)
In WWII, 1940, Hitler was bombing London. Night after night the German planes dropped their bombs on the city. Then all of a sudden Hitler changed the plan and left London and dropped his bombs on the factories in other areas of England!
Winston Churchill said Hitler could have brought total destruction had he continued with one area and not changed to another. But Hitler did change. He bombed the airfields, Then London. Then he left London and bombed the shipyards and manufacturers. All this gave England time to gather it's breathe and survive.
Those of us who understand know this idea Hitler had was not of himself nor accidental.
God is in charge!
Then in 1941, Hitler left England and attacked Russia. He decided to destroy Russia first and then return to destroy England.
But he was one month later than planned in the attack of Russia.
A very severe winter came to Russia and the German armies were trapped inside Russia. Countless numbers of Germans died in the cold weather and vast numbers were taken prisoner and sent to the Russian labor camps.
God is in charge.
(Keep yourself in this truth. Don't let yourself be upset and fret over that which you see rulers do today. Know that God is in charge and can change that ruler from the direction he is going if God chooses to do so. But regardless, know that God keeps HIS own people.)
