Thinking You Are Following God When You Are Not

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

A woman in our church group thought she was following God but she learned she was not following God.  (she has done this several times in past few years)

I prayed:  asking God what was going on with this woman.

I heard:  "She is following what she wants to believe."

Jn. 5:30 ... Jesus said ... I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

If you want to approve people, and praise people, and make people feel good about that which they say and do, you can deceive yourself about them.

God may turn you over to a reprobate mind, a mind without God's judgment on the matter.

It is just as serious a sin to praise someone as it is to criticize someone.  Both acts are judging and you can be condemned for praising if it turns out your praise is placed on approving a person who turns out to be speaking wrongly.

You can also be condemned if you withhold praise or approval when someone speaks rightly for we should encourage well doing, well speaking.

The point is:  If it is truth from God and you praise it, you approve God and put yourself in a good position even when the word presented is a judgment word condemning a wrong doer.

Revelation 16:3-7 ... And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

And I heard the angel of the waters say, THOU art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because THOU hast judged thus.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and THOU hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are THY judgments.

II Cor. 5 ... For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men
