The End of the World ... What the Scriptures Show

Jesus spoke by parables so those not of God wouldn't understand what HE was saying.  The elect understood.  Jesus was glad these things were not revealed to all.  Therefore Jesus said, "I thank THEE, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because THOU hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes."  Mt. 11:25

I have notice how pertinent scripture on one subject is often scattered through various chapters of the Bible.  This makes it a little more difficult to attach the meaning of the subject, much as a parable would do.  But the Holy Spirit often connects these scattered scripture for us and thereby causes us to have more understanding about the subject.

For years, in the churches I was in, the big subject was:  Will the church be removed before the great tribulation?

People often asked me what I thought.  I replied, "God hasn't shown me about that."

As of approximately 2016, I think God has gotten my attention on the subject of the church and the great tribulation.

The apostate church who eliminates portion of scripture will not be removed though some in these churches will have physical death.  They, as will all, will answer for what they do at the judgment seat of Christ.

II Cor. 6:10-11 ...  For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men

For the church that holds to all the scriptures and continues in all scripture ... The apostle Paul tells us that God has not appointed "us" to wrath but to obtain salvation by our Lord, Jesus Christ.  I Thess. 5

We obtain deliverance from the wrath of God that is coming upon this earth by THE WORD.

If we eliminate portions of THE WORD, we eliminate our deliverance from The Wrath of God.

Either at the judgment seat of Christ or during the great tribulation those who eliminate portions of scripture will receive for this action.

Those who continue to hold to the scriptures will be delivered by Jesus Christ as follows before the Wrath of God is released on this present earth.  They will simply be removed by the coming of Jesus from the approaching wrath loosed by God.

I Thess. 4:13-17 ... But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep (dead), that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with HIM. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent (precede) them which are asleep (dead). For the Lord HIMSELF shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Before the wrath of God is loosed upon this earth by God, both the dead in Christ and those who are still alive at the time will rise to meet Jesus "in the air."

After the faithful to Jesus, THE WORD, have been removed from this present earth, the Wrath of God, the great tribulation from God, will begin on this earth.

It comes with the following:

Revelation 8 ... And when HE had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

... The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

This is just the beginning of the time of the great tribulation ... there were more trumpets to sound and also there were 7 vials of wrath to be poured out on this present earth before God finally completely destroys this present earth.  (Rev. 9-11)  (II Peter 3)

We see these "woes" were things that only God could do.  Man can cause wars with other men, but only God can effect the shaking of the heaven as described in the wrath of God.

Mt. 24, Jesus says ... Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And HE shall send HIS angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

I believe this gathering of the elect will be the 144,000 who have gone through the great tribulation but did not receive the mark of the beast and therefore are elect of God.

I believe there are two gatherings of the elect of God ... The first when Jesus comes through the air and the dead in Christ rise from graves and the elect who are still alive at that time are changed and given new spiritual bodies and rise from this earth to meet Jesus and the resurrected dead in the air, as we are told in I Thess. 4.

Then the second gathering of the elect is after the great tribulation is poured out on the earth and before the entire heaven and earth is dissolved by God.

Here is a dream God gave me in the early 1980's.

The earth slipped on its axis.  People were terrified.  The governments, scientists, and religious leaders were meeting to see what they could figure out to do.  A TV newscaster was telling of this and he was so afraid he couldn't continue speaking.

This dream shows moving of the earth by God even before the entire heaven and earth is dissolved.  But this is also shown when that great mountain burning with fire is cast into the sea and the sea made blood and life died.  Revelation 8:8

At the end of the great tribulation, Jesus told us the sky would turn black, the stars would fall from heaven, and "the powers of the heavens will be shaken."  Mt. 24

Then everything, heaven and earth, will be destroyed by fire, by God.

II Peter 3 ... But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
