Jn. 1:1 ... In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Jesus said:
Jn. 5:39-40 ... (Ye) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of ME. And ye will not come to ME, that ye might have life.
The Word is God ... the scriptures are about HIM ... But when the Holy Spirit reveals a scripture to us then that "is God" for it is God speaking to us directly.
