Example of God working

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

This week God called my attention to the following scripture:

Exodus 7 ... 14 And the Lord said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuseth to let the people go. 15 Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goeth out unto the water; and thou shalt stand by the river's brink against he come; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shalt thou take in thine hand. 16 And thou shalt say unto him, The Lord God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness:and, behold, hitherto thou wouldest not hear.

17 Thus saith the Lord, In this thou shalt know that I am the Lord:behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood. 18 And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall lothe to drink of the water of the river.

19 And the Lord spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone. 20 And Moses and Aaron did so, as the Lord commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.

Sometimes God wants us to do something.

We like to say, "If God wants that to be done, HE will do it."  But God reminded me of the scripture in Exodus 7, to show me that HE wanted the waters of Egypt to be turned into blood but Moses and Arron had to do something for this to happen.

When I told this story to Pam Padgett she was reminded of the blog.

God gave me a dream showing me the blog and how we could communicate with the church through the blog.  But it didn't just happen.   After the dream, I called Pam immediately and ask her to set up a blog.  She had never worked with this area but she looked into the subject of setting up blog and she selected (after prayer) the blog she thought would work and set it to operate on her computer and showed me how to get to the blog and I began writing immediately on the blog.  That was late March 2012.  We have published new teachings and exhortations daily since that time.

Also concerning the blog ... God gave me another dream showing me the project and how we were located downtown (main stream) but on a side street.  In the dream, I said, what we need to do is hang banners from out building to the building across the street so the people passing by on adjacent streets can see us and be attracted to our building.  There was lots of traffic doing down the side streets.  They would just have to have their attention drawn to us. The banners would do that.

When I told Pam this, she said immediately she thought those "banners" were advertising on Google.

I agreed.

We began advertising immediately and have continued advertising daily each month since the blog began.  We spend approximately $350- $400 per month to help people find us on Internet.

Since we began the blog in 2012, we have had the following page views on the blog: 428,052

Last month, 12,037 people world-wide visited our blog.

I don't believe this would have happened without the advertisment.

God might want something to happen, but HE might also use you someway to instigate the happening.
