Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
On a Monday morning, I made a phone call
and after that the phone went dead and Internet stopped working and my modem
began blinking red lights.
ATT sent me a new modem which arrived
Tuesday afternoon. I hooked it up and it
did not work.
Wednesday morning I called Randy, the
man who keeps my computers going.
(Of course I was praying every
step of the way, asking God for help.)
Randy
said I could probably call ATT and they could walk me through the set up.
I
thought about this. And I said, “I’d rather pay you to do it and then you
could also set my kindles if they need a change.”
We made
appointment for 1 pm that same afternoon.
As I
was thinking about how well this turned out that Randy could come over the same
day, I thought of something else.
I’ve been wanting to switch to
a color printer. This would be a
perfect time to do that. Randy could set
it up. And I want a wireless printer so
I can use it with the 2 kindle devices.
Since
the appointment was for 1 pm, that gave me time to go to office supply and
purchase the printer.
I thought of how really well
this turned out for me.
And I
remembered Romans 8:28 …
28 And we know
that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are
the called according to his purpose.
Other
blessings in this:
The modem went out on Monday, not
Saturday afternoon. When problems happen
on Saturday you have weekend delays.
I was able to use free wireless at
Chick-fil-a cafΓ© Monday evening so I could read our blog and check emails and
answer them and also see what Amazon is doing with the new books we have
published.
All the manuscripts for the books we are
currently publishing had been sent to Pam in Colorado Springs before the modem
went out so she was not delayed at all in setting up book publishing with
Amazon.
I was still able to use my computer so I
could continuing working on the book I was writing at the time this happened.
In this problem, I knew I was being
guided step by step by the Holy Spirit in what to do to resolve the problem in
the easiest possible way for me.
Jn.
16:13 … 13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you
into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall
hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Randy came to set modem as
scheduled. He worked for 2
hours and called ATT technical support.
They
found an ATT line had been cut in my alley.
They arranged to send repair next day.
I went
back to Chick-fillet and bought sandwich and used their internet the second day
to answer emails and to check on the books we have published with Amazon.
When there is unnecessary
expenses, God
has shown me not to fret over what was done wrong against me to cause the extra expense.
Our God created heaven and earth. He can certainly help us financially, if
needed.
I have no need. Everything has been provided by God
abundantly.
Eph. 3 … 20 Now
unto HIM that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or
think, according to the power that worketh in us,
Earlier
I was reminded of what Jesus said (Holy
Spirit reminded me of this.)
Jn. 16:33 …These
things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye
shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have
overcome the world.
We,
also, overcome the world as we remember that which Jesus has said to us and
choose to go by that in the trials of life.
If you
go about complaining to people concerning the wrong done against you and the
loss (especially financial loss), you
are failing to overcome through HIM.
Overcome
through that which the Holy Spirit speaks to you in all things.
