* Thinking on God

Psalm 89

6   Who in the heaven can be compared unto the Lord? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the Lord?

7 God is greatly to be feared (respected & obeyed) in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about Him.

8 O Lord God of hosts, who is a strong Lord like unto Thee? or to THY faithfulness round about Thee?

11 The heavens are Thine, the earth also is Thine: as for the world and the fulness thereof, Thou hast founded them.

Jesus is THE Word.  And The Word is Jesus.

John 1

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by Him
(The Word); and without Him was not any thing made that was made.

4 In Him
(The Word) was life; and the life was the light of men.

The Word given to us by God through the Spirit of Jesus creates us as we are today as we obey that Word.  We are created anew by that Word.  We are born again by that Word.  And the Spirit of Jesus now lives in us and teaches us and guides us so we can know the will of God and do the will of God.

That Word, sent to us by God, is everything to us!

John 1

10 HE was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not.

11 HE came unto His own, and His own received Him not.

12 But as many as received Him, to them gave HE power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
