* I want my help to come from God that I may praise God.

Psalm 74:21   Let the poor and needy praise THY name.

(Comments by Joan Boney)

When we pray and ask God for help and HE shows us what to do, we glorify God for we know HE helped us in that situation.

But when we turn to man and make man our strength, don't we end up praising that man when we speak to other people?

I want my help to be from God and I want my praise to be to God in all things.

Recently I saw an episode concerning Franklin Roosevelt dealing with the problems of the great depression after he was elected president of the USA.

Poor people were shown hanging Roosevelt's photograph on the walls of their homes.

But isn't wisdom from God?

Some people look at the great mountains and glory in those creations and fail to see the creator.

But I see the creator.  I want to see HIM and have HIM be my God and not man.

Therefore when man does help me I want to thank God for bringing that man to help me and for giving that man wisdom and skill to help me.

When they built the temple, God put wisdom and skill into the hearts of some to do the work.

Exodus 31:6  God says  ... and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded thee;

I want to praise God in all things.  I want to see God behind the man and know the good done by man was put there by God to help me.
