Speaking truth to the church

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

At one point of my life, I was looking for a church to attend.  I noticed a very small building where Church of Christ denomination gathered.

I decided to visit that group.

I went to the Sunday school class where pastor was teaching.  It was very informal with about 9 people in the group.  Pastor made it very clear that everyone in the group was free to speak.

Pastor was teaching about Noah and pastor read the following:

Heb. 11 ... 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

Pastor asked:  Did Noah really condemn the world?

Immediately I responded by saying:  "YES ... Noah obeyed God and by this Noah condemned those who did not obey God."

That pretty much broke up the meeting.  No one wanted to have any thing at all to do with me after I said that.

Another thing happened in this class.  I called pastor, "pastor".  He corrected me saying he was not called "pastor".  I asked, "What are you called?"  He replied: "Minister."

I had forgotten that Church of Christ do not call their ministers "pastor" ... for some reason they consider it wrong to be called "pastor".

A very strange doctrine which opposes the following scripture which tells us after Jesus arose, HE gave to the church:  apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers ... for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ.  ( Eph. 4)

When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. 9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? 10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Antichrist in the church is men and women who deny the scriptures.

This Church of Christ group is one example of the apostasy in today's church.  (falling away from the scriptures)

The apostle Paul said the Day of the Lord would not come until the "falling away", the "apostasy" happened first in the church. (II Thess. 2)

The apostasy is rampant in today's churches as they depart from scripture and omit scripture and mishandle scripture, twisting it as they will, mostly to approve sinners in the congregation and to give them pleasure in their unrighteousness, making them feel approved in their sin so there is no repentance.

This is lawlessness in the church against the scriptures ... setting up their own doctrines opposing scripture ... this is antichrist in the church.

There are many antichrists in today's churches, just as John said there were many antichrists in the church in John's time.  I Jn. 2 ... 18 Little children, it is the last time:and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

The apostle Paul said:  Acts 20 ... 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
