Sexual intercourse causes you to become "one flesh"

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

God ordained the creation of man and the creation of woman.  Man was created from the dust of the earth.  But woman was created from the rib of Adam.  Gen. 2

The woman was a part of the man.  God arranged that they would be one flesh.

Can a divorce in a secular court of law separate that which God has ordained?

Mt. 19 ... 3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

4 And HE (Jesus) answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, 5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife:and they twain shall be one flesh? 6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Paul warns the men:  If you have sex with an harlot you become one flesh with that harlot.  Paul says fornication is a sin that is different from all other sins for this sin is against "his own body".  I think this means this sin is against "Christ's own body."

I Cor. 6 ... 15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid. 16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his (Christ's) own body. 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 20 For ye are bought with a price:therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

2016:  Fornication today has become a way of life in our society and even permitted in many churches today as "lovers" attend church and sit in the congregation (without marriage) and the congregation shows approval of these people.

It has gotten so bad today that it is difficult to become excited over a wedding since so many couples today are already living together, having sex together, and in some cases already have children together.  It is a shame this is so.

Paul shows us even if a man has sex with a prostitute, they become "one flesh" at the time of sexual intercourse.

Warning should be going out from the pulpit in our churches.

But I've never heard these things taught at any church I've ever attended.

Fornication is a very serious sin.

Certainly the warning should be coming to people in the congregtion.

And most certainly, each person must understand that sexual intercourse causes the couple to become one flesh whether or not they have a wedding certificate.
