I Timothy 4:1-3
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

There are many doctrines of devils in the Catholic churches:
* Forbidding their ministers to marry while the apostle Paul said in the Bible they, the ministers, were free to marry.
* Keeping the Catholic people from eating meat on Fridays, when the Bible says: For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. (I Tim. 4:3-4)
* Teaching people in church to attach faith to an object which you can see with your natural eyes, such as wearing of crosses, touching crosses, praying to medallions or statues made by human hands.

Many seducing spirits come to individuals to try to persuade those persons to go in a direction that would not be the will of God.
I John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Ideas that come from God are: pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. (James 3:17)
If we have any doubt about the plan we are about to do, we can pray for wisdom:
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
