If we sit in a church group when we know something is being taught that is opposite to Bible, we risk damnation for all eternity or loss of reward in heaven.
In 1975, as a new Christian, I attended a church in Dallas where the pastor was teaching that tongues are of the devil.
One day I read the following from the Holy Bible:
The apostle Paul says:
I Corinthians 14:39 Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues.
I was very shocked when I read this in the Bible for the church I was attending was teaching exactly opposite from that which I was reading in the New Testament Bible.
I made an instant choice. I chose the Bible and never returned again to that church group that was teaching opposite from the Bible.

Today, the churches that I know are approving marriage between a man and a divorced woman.
Jesus says:
Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
Which are they teaching at your church group?

The Bible teaches that the divorced woman who remarries commits adultery.
Romans 7:1-3 Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?
2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.
3 So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.
2 For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband.

Some churches are taught that we do not go by "the law" any longer so the above scripture does not apply to the New Testament church today.
These churches damn their congregations for Paul is speaking this to the New Testament church and it is a law of God for the church today.
Don't be deceived: We do not sacrifice animals for our sins as they did in the Law of Moses for Jesus is our sacrifice. But we do go by the New Testament laws of God presented to us in the New Testament Bible and if any of us think to throw out the laws of God from the New Testament Bible we risk being damned for all eternity by God. The apostle Paul says the following is a commandment of the Lord for women:
I Corinthians 7:10-11 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

Concerning homosexuals and lesbians, here is what the Bible teaches:
Romans 1
19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

So if you are in a church group teaching opposite to any of these scriptures, you risk damnation by God.
None of us can go against scripture.
To do so will bring us great loss.
II John
9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

If you stay in a church group which teaches opposite to the New Testament Bible you risk damnation for all eternity along with the pastors of those church who teach opposite to Bible.
Flee those churches.
