* One of the end time "perils" ... People will not care about others.

 Comments by Joan Boney:

Jesus warned us:

Matthew 24:12-13   And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Be very aware that in the end times many people will not care about anyone other than themselves.

We must not allow ourselves to be pulled down by these people.  We must not lose faith in God because of that which they do.  We must not go down with them.

This is one of the most difficult things for me to see, people not caring.

I've seen pastors who did not care that they perverted scriptures.  We've seen the Catholic church hide child abusers and try to cover up those sins, not caring about the victims or about what is right in the sight of God.

My aunt was married to a very likeable man.  He was a womanizer.  To get even, my aunt decided to run around with men.  She allowed her husband to pull her down with his sin.

Sometimes uncaring children pull their parents down.

Or sin in humans which puffs up those humans can pull us down if we let it do so.

We must fight to hold on to that which is right in the sight of God and faith in God.  We must not go down with them.

Paul said:

II Timothy 3

1  This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

They will not care about other people, only about themselves!

We ran into this problem recently and I found it very difficult to keep myself.

In June 2020, I was thinking about having the passenger seat rebuilt on my 26 year old car ... and then I thought about Pam's 17 year old car.  I've had several broken bones and it is difficult to sit on car seats when they are worn down.

As I thought about this, a very gentle thought came which I believed to be Holy Spirit saying,  "Or you could just buy a new car."

That same night, I had a dream where I bought a new car.

We did end up buying a new car.

To make car ride better, we changed tires.  And I had a sound system with amplifier and subwoofer put into car and insulation to help with road noise and vibrations.

On October 30, Pam was going to go for our food and car would not start.  She remembered her home/car insurance and called and they sent out someone to start car.  The man could not jump start the car because he did not have the right cables for these new batteries.  The insurance company sent tow truck to take car to dealer.

When the car service department at dealer discovered the custom sound system, they immediately blamed the sound installation, and even told us we would have to have car towed away from their dealership because it wasn't their problem.

The sound installation business had 3 locations in the city where we live.  Pam called the business that was nearest to the location of the car dealer.  The sound system manager was very nice and concerned even though we had not had the original sound work done at his location.  He went up to the dealers business and drove the car to his business and checked the car and found no problem with installation.  He took the car back to the dealer and they conceded that something else was wrong causing the battery drainage.  They found the problem and are going to replace the module but they are charging us for diagnostic tests because of the sound installation although sound was not the problem.

Encounters where people do not care about anything other than themselves as this dealer exhibited, can really pull us down.  We must not allow that to happen.  Our salvation is what matters.

The money is not as important as it seems to be.  Being taken advantage of is not really the issue.  (They have had the car 2 weeks.)  The lack of justice and fair dealing is not the issue.  Continuing to believe in God and trusting in God is the issue.  Even when God authors our doing something, when things do go wrong, we must trust in God.  God is all we have!

We must also understand this:

Romans 12:17-21  Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.  Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.  Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

The sound system manager showed us he did care about us.  He had no hope of gain from us yet he went to the car business multiple times and worked through the problem and found even when the sound was disconnected the battery still had a problem from electronics inside the car.  And he told us to bring the car back and they will hook up the sound again after the car dealer fixes the problem.

Even though the sound system manager does not expect any benefit from us, we plan to give him money for his efforts on our behalf.

The people who deal well with us will benefit.  Those people who deal poorly with us will suffer loss as God judges them.

Genesis 12:3 (God said to Abram) And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

If they treat us well, it will go well with them.  But if they treat us unfairly, God will deal with them and it will not go well with them.  God will repay both good and evil when it comes to us.

All through the Bible it is this way and it will be this way with us also.

So keep faith in God for HE is just and benefits HIS children, HIS called.

Do not allow yourself to be destroyed by their evil.

(If God allows them to do this, God will repay you.)

Luke 6:29   And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not to take thy coat also.

If God allows it to happen, endure it.

Paul, who preached Jesus as Messiah, was put in prison.  and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.  (Acts 24:27)

God left Joseph in prison for 2 full years after he was falsely accused by Potiphar's wife!  Joseph submitted to the authority and God caused Joseph to prosper even in the prison.

Genesis 39

20 And Joseph's master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were bound: and he was there in the prison.

21 But the LORD was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

22 And the keeper of the prison committed to Joseph's hand all the prisoners that were in the prison; and whatsoever they did there, he was the doer of it.

23 The keeper of the prison looked not to any thing that was under his hand; because the LORD was with him, and that which he did, the LORD made it to prosper.

These are astounding examples for us!
