26 My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
27 For, lo, they that are far from Thee shall perish: Thou hast destroyed all them that go a whoring from thee.
(Instead of calling on God, they call on man for their help in times of need. Even those who say they are Christians do this and it is like being a whore when they do this. Men who say they are ministers still send me emails telling me of their needs and asking me to be their provider. We should consider God as our provider and call on God and listen to HIM and do what HE shows us to do. Then our thanks is to God and not to other humans.)
28 But it is good for me to draw near to God: I have put my trust in the Lord God, that I may declare all thy works.
We put our trust in God by turning to Him in prayer and by calling on Him for counsel.

In March, 2020, at the peak of the Coronavirus in USA, I strongly turned to God in prayer asking HIM if there was anything I should do about the house in Texas which had been for-sale for more than a year. As I prayed about this, the idea came to me to lower the price of the house and to put the house at a "special price" for 1 week. I communicated this immediately to our realtor asking her to lower the price of the house by $50,000 for one week only. The house sold within 2 days of lowering the price.
Another thing that I believe God showed me to do was to place all old sound equipment for-sale on Internet and to do it immediately.
You wouldn't think at the height of a raging virus it would be a good time to sell sound equipment but we found just opposite. Everything we listed sold.
We believe God showed us to do these things. Therefore we thank God.
And then when we tell others how we turned to God and how HE led us, praise goes to God rather than to man. We marvel in God who helps us.
