Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
January 10, 1980, I was asleep in the night. A loud trumpet-like sound blew 3 words into my ear, wakening me.
"Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"
It was obvious to me that KWJS would be either radio or television.
I looked it up and found it was a radio station in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
I began praying, "Are YOU telling me to go on radio? I'm not a speaker. I'm a writer. I wouldn't know how to do that."
Immediately I had the following words brought to my mind:
"Call the radio station manager."
By HIS Spirit, the Holy Spirit, God showed me the first step to take in going on radio.
That same morning, I called KWJS radio and asked to speak with the station manager.
I told him God might be showing me to go on radio. And I asked the following question, "How would you do that?"
He replied, "Make an audition tape 29 1/2 minutes long and send it to me and if you fit our broadcasts we will offer you a contract."

After I went on radio, 5 days per week, 30 minutes per day, a woman from our prayer group said to me, "You should take each tape to your pastor to see if that is what you should broadcast."
I turned to God in prayer.
"Is that what I should do?"
Instantly I was reminded of the following:
The apostle Paul said:
II Timothy 1:12 I know WHOM I have believed, and am persuaded that HE is able to keep that which I have committed unto HIM against that day.
I knew God was saying to me, "Trust ME."
That is what I did.

I just prayed before I taped each broadcast, asking God to show me what to speak.
I was set in the ministry by the will of God. I was put on radio by God. It is illogical to think man would give me the messages or have to "edit" the messages on the radio broadcasts.
In fact, my pastor at that time was one of those ministers I had to correct for he "killed a prophet" by telling a prophet from his own church not to mention being a prophet on his TV show because "it isn't popular." In his own pursuit of greatness and fame and money, he ended up losing everything, his own wife, the church building, his congregation. (See Robert Tilton: Wikipedia)
I heard over that pastor: "You're house will be left unto you desolate." Matthew 23:38
I delivered that message by cassette tape to pastor. He heard the tape. His first wife heard the tape. Some of the office staff heard the tape.
After hearing the tape, he took the tape, cut it into pieces and all danced around the waste basket while quoting scripture, as if to "break the spell" of the tape. (Reported to me by Ava Pickard, the prophet he "killed" who was on his office staff at that time and saw what they did with the tape I sent.)
But it all came to pass ... Bob and his wife divorced. Bob remarried. They divorced. He remarried again. A man in his own congregation sued him. ABC television, Prime Time Live, did an expose on Robert Tilton. As a result, he lost many followers, and offerings, by their report, reduced from 80-million dollars per year to 2-million dollars a year (still an enormous amount of money). He moved to Florida and tried to continue television. Finally, he sold out and moved to Culver City, California and bought a hotel.

It might be easier to trust in man rather than the Spirit of God.
We can see man but we can't see a "spirit".
But it is not safe to trust in man ... nor is it safe to trust in our own flesh.
The only safe thing is trusting in God through prayer.
