The vast majority of church groups today have changed doctrines from the scriptures and are, in part, teaching another doctrine ... and the people in the congregations are going along with this change.
For example: Jesus said: whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
(The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.)
Yet in today's church groups we see church members freely marrying divorced woman while pastors perform the wedding ceremony and the congregation joyfully participates in the wedding, giving their approval.
How can this be?
Also in today's church groups we witness women leaving their husbands and marrying other men, when the apostle Paul told us the "opposite" must happen in the church.
I Corinthians 7:10-11 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.
If the wife was committing fornication, the husband could divorce that "unfaithful" wife ... but by the above scripture this was not the case for women in the church. A wife can leave the husband who has been unfaithful if she chooses to do so, but let her remain unmarried or reconcile with her husband.
(You might consider this unfair but this is what the Bible teaches and therefore this is what I would go by. I remind us that God intended to keep that woman pure that her children would be pure. In the OT men had multiple wives but women of God did not have multiple husbands. Abraham & Sarah with the handmaiden Hagar producing a child by Abraham as example. David as another example. In the NT, men had one wife. Titus 1:6 concerning "elders" ... if any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.)

These are just a few of the perversions that are going on in today's church groups. This departing from portions of scripture in the church is the end-time apostasy that Paul said had to happen in the churches before Jesus returns.
Churches would "fall away" from scriptures ... individuals who are the church would "fall away" from scripture.
Paul says the day of the Lord will not happen unless this apostasy in the church happens first.
II Thessalonians 2:3-4 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
(Churches will "fall away" from portions of scripture ... and when these scriptures are eliminated, the man of sin, antichrist, is revealed.)
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Antichrist opposes scripture: Jesus says, "The man who marries the divorced woman commits adultery." but antichrist opposes this teaching and brings another teaching to the church group saying it is permitted for men to marry divorced women therefore these marriage ceremonies are performed in the church group and sanctioned by the church group ... the end time apostasy in the church today.
II Thessalonians 2:3-4 NASB Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God.
For many decades, church people have thought antichrist was coming through the governments of men. Paul tells us antichrist comes through the churches in the end times.
The apostle John said it already was the "last days" and there were already many antichrists in the church.
I John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
In the days of the apostle John and the apostle Paul, order was kept in the church by the apostles and these "antichrists" couldn't take over as long as the apostles were there.
So these "antichrists" just left the church where John and Paul kept doctrines of Christ.
I John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
After Paul departed, he explained, antichrists would move into the church and set up perverted doctrines of men, departing from the true doctrines which are in the Holy Bible now, today.
Acts 20:29-30 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
And Paul warned us that it would get worse and worse in the church groups.
II Timothy 3:1-5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

So today, we just have to walk away from those church groups where scripture has been removed, in part, from the group. We can't sit in the apostate churches where portions of scripture are denied for to sit there shows us to deny those scriptures.
(They come saying "Jesus is Lord" and they have an appearance of godliness, but when confronted with specific scripture, they deny the power of that scripture to rule and they proceed in their own ungodly way inside the church group and they take others along with them in their perversions.)
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.
13-17 evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of WHOM thou hast learned;(It is God who has taught us by HIS Spirit.)

Our coming out of the corrupt churches today is similar to the story of Sodom and Lot. Genesis 19

And while he lingered, the men (the angels) laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and they brought him forth, and set him without the city.
Lot "lingered" ... delayed departing. (to stay in a place longer than necessary because of a reluctance to leave.)
So as soon as Paul was gone, men brought perverse doctrines into the church, and the apostasy began and grew inside the churches as doctrine was changed, in part, from the Holy Bible. And the congregation was "poisoned" by the new doctrine which permitted men to marry divorced women and divorced women to remarry at will and it allowed both men and women to divorce and remarry in the church group with the approval of the congregation.
In 1979, God gave me a dream about this apostasy happening in the churches.
Destruction was everywhere.
A man was speaking to a group of people. I went into the room and sat down and began to listen.
A second man rushed into the room and said, "Stop ...Can't you see? ... It's too late ... It's already begun."
(Then he disappeared and the first man resumed speaking.)
I looked out the window to see what had "already begun".
I saw a tall pole with a yellow, civil defense type warning speaker on top of the pole. Out of the speaker was coming a gas. It was poison and it was coming straight toward those of us who were sitting in that room. The poison gas was coming from the speaker.
This was terrible to see because the speaker who was set there to warn us was the device being used to poison us to death.
I looked at the man sitting next to me. He had a big smile on his face as he looked attentively, directly at the man who was speaking.
Then I saw this man was a corpse. He was already dead.
I looked at the others in the room, and they too were dead.
(Notice when the second man came in saying it was too late, it had already begun, the congregation showed no interest in seeing what had already begun. They were already dead.)
And as I sat among them, I began to fall asleep and I knew the gas from the speaker was killing me too.

The removal of parts of the scripture sets the church up for this poison to come from the speakers in the church ... thus the revealing of "the wicked" (antichrist) inside the church.
II Thessalonians 2:9-12: And then shall that Wicked be revealed, Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
And he (the angel) said unto him, See, I have accepted thee concerning this thing also, that I will not overthrow this city, for the which thou hast spoken.
Haste thee, escape thither; for I cannot do anything till thou be come thither.
The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar.
Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; And HE overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground.
(We cannot save that which God is going to destroy. Instead we flee.)
Genesis 19:27-29 And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord: And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.
And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when HE overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.
Genesis 19:1 And there came two angels to Sodom
at even; and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom: and Lot seeing them rose up
to meet them; and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground;
The angels are going to get Lot out of Sodom and destroy Sodom.
When the men of Sodom saw the angels, whom they thought to be men, they came to the home where these men were lodging with Lot. These evil men of Sodom came "from every quarter" of the city. This shows us how corrupt the whole city was. They came for the purpose of having sex with the angels whom they thought to be men.
Lot, being righteous, tried to dissuade them from their evil intentions. But they, being evil, would not be persuaded to turn from the evil.
II Peter 2:6-10 And (God) turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked: (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.
So the angel, being mighty in power from God, blinded these men of Sodom at the door. Many in church groups are also blinded to things of God and the perversions sound right to them because of their own desires.

And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
But the men (angels) put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
And they (the angels) smote the men that were at the door of the house with blindness, both small and great: so that they wearied themselves to find the door.
(Angels have great powers from God.)
And the men (angels) said unto Lot, Hast thou here any besides? son in law, and thy sons, and thy daughters, and whatsoever thou hast in the city, bring them out of this place:
(By this we know Lot also had sons ... Lot had married daughters because the angels spoke of "sons in law" in verse 14. And the two daughters who lived at home were unmarried for Lot said to the wicked men that these daughters had not "known" man. These are the two daughters who were pulled out of Sodom by the two angels.)
For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the Lord; and the Lord hath sent us to destroy it.

(Here is another example for us. God will deliver the righteous, those who are found in peace, without spot and blameless, before HE brings HIS wrath ... the great tribulation ... upon this world in the day HE comes to judge this world before HE destroys this heaven and this earth.)

believed the message of God, delivered by the angels and he tried to
save his sons-in-law, but they mocked the message and they mocked Lot,
and they ended up being destroyed by God along with Sodom.)
And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
(consumed: a little leaven leavens the whole lump)

upon Lot and the wife and two unmarried daughters, pulling them out of

(This
is a critical message, spoken by the angel, which must be obeyed. It
is also a lesson for us today. We cannot remain in those places with
those people who do opposite to the Word of God, lest we be consumed by
them and thereby destroyed by them. We must love the Word of God more than those people who do opposite to the Word. You will not save the wicked by remaining with the wicked, rather you will be destroyed by their wickedness if you stay.)

can't stay with those who go opposite from the word of God in the
issues of this life. If we stay there, we, too, will be destroyed when
God destroys them.)
I said once to my mother, "You can go down, but I will not go down with you." She straightened up immediately!

But Lot doesn't want to go to the mountains and he pleaded for an optional course.
And Lot said unto them, Oh, not so, my Lord:
Behold now, thy servant hath found grace in thy sight, and thou hast
magnified thy mercy, which thou hast shewed unto me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil take me, and I die: Behold now, this city is near to flee unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
It is like that person who knows they are teaching wrong doctrines at his church but he can't leave that church or he can't even think of coming out without finding another church, just a little one, where only a few things are opposite to Bible. "I have to be fed else I perish," he reasons. But he doesn't consider that the food he is being fed is corrupt, poisoned, and it will end up destroying him. And he doesn't trust God to provide for him, he trusts man and trusts in himself to provide for himself. And such a man doesn't love the word of God or honor the word of God more than groupings of men who are disobeying the Holy Scriptures. He shows himself unworthy of salvation.

(Lot pleads as if the optional city, "a little one", is free from the sins of Sodom and therefore will escape the destruction of the wrath of God.)

Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

(This
action of Lot's wife, implied that she longed for the things of Sodom.
for the things of this world ... and she went against the order given by
the angel for the angel said, "Escape for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the mountain, least thou be consumed." Genesis 19:17)
consumed ... eaten up by them ... II Timothy 2:16-17 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as doth a canker:

And there was a severe penalty against Lot's wife for disobeying the instruction delivered by the angel of God.
Genesis 19:27-29 And Abraham gat up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the Lord: And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace.
And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when HE overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt.
30 And Lot went up out of Zoar, and dwelt in the mountain, and his two daughters with him; for he feared to dwell in Zoar: and he dwelt in a cave, he and his two daughters.
Though Lot didn't want to go to the mountain as the angel instructed, Lot ended up going to the mountain. We sometimes think we know best, even over what God says. But sometimes God will have mercy anyway and we usually end up in the place and situation God told us regardless.
Concerning angels ...
We see how the angels performed the Word authored by God. We see the
mighty abilities given by God to His angels. We see angels taking the
hand of Lot and the wife and daughters and dragging them out of the
danger. We see angels destroying the cities by the will of God.
