Holiday Seasons ... Rejoice that you belong to God
Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet
Christmas is a man made holiday ... Christ's "mass" ... very secular thinking ...
We are certainly not told in Bible to do the things many do ... decorate houses ... decorate trees ... give gifts to people ...
If you do such, you should do it "by faith" ...
If you choose not to do such, you should refrain "by faith" ...
But mainly, do not allow these worldly things to trouble you, as many people do at this time of year.
The important things to keep in mind are how we are saved by God ... If you are born again, rejoice in this.
When I was born again, I knew this was the greatest thing that could ever happen to me. It is greater than the greatest marriage anyone can obtain. It is greater than having a family or children. Nothing equals having God reveal HIMSELF to you personally, allowing you to belong to HIM.
If that is your case, rejoice in that.
That's what matters! And like Peter, we are blessed above all if God has revealed HIS truth to us.
Mt. 16 ... 13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist:some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.
15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?
16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona:for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
Peter was blessed because God revealed this truth to him! This is the revealed word of God on an issue of life.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock (the word God reveals to us is the rock upon which Jesus builds HIS church) I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
