Where God chooses to put HIS name

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

In the Old Testament, we read:

II Chronicles 12:13 ... Jerusalem, the city which the Lord had chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, to put his name there.

Where does the Lord put "HIS Name" today?

John 4 ... Jesus said:  The hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

...  23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:for the Father seeketh such to worship him. 24 God is a Spirit:and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The apostle Paul explained:

I Cor. 6 ... 19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?

In the NT church, God puts HIS Spirit into those individuals HE chooses.  In the OT, God chose the nation of Israel as HIS own.  Today God has chosen us to be HIS people and God has put HIS name in each of us in the form of HIS Spirit which dwells in us.

The NT church is us, each of us who belongs to God.

Therefore we do not go to church, we are the church wherever we go.

We do not go to a mountain to worship God.  We do not go to a city to worship God.  We do not go to a building made by human hands to worship God.

We worship God wherever we are for we are those whom God has chosen to put HIS name.

The current Jerusalem is not the "new Jerusalem" of the New Testament.

The current Jerusalem of the worldly nation of Israel will never be righteous.

The "new Jerusalem" described by the apostle John in the book of Revelation is the Jerusalem which John saw coming down from heaven.

Rev. 21 ... 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain:for the former things are passed away.

It should be obvious to us that this current earth and this current Jerusalem will never be the "new Jerusalem" described in the Bible.

In the book of Revelation, Jesus also spoke of "new Jerusalem" that came down from heaven.  Revelation 3:12 ...  12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out:and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God:and I will write upon him my new name.

This current heaven and earth will pass away and all works of men will be destroyed in the fire.

II Peter 3 ... 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. 11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Then the "new Jerusalem" will come wherein dwelleth righteousness.

In the meantime:

I John 5 ... 19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
