* God is kind to the unthankful and to the evil.

Comments by Joan Boney:

Often Christians bristle when they encounter sinners, forgetting that they were sinners until God had HIS mercy on them and opened their eyes to see God's truth.

Jesus said:

Luke 6:35   But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for HE is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

To be kind does not mean we approve sin that is being committed by that other person.

Most people who identify themselves as being Christians have some fear in them when they encounter a sinner.

If we will relax and just speak truth as given by the Holy Spirit when we come across those "without" we will do the work God wants done.  Just speak that which is brought to your mind by the Holy Spirit.  God might even use that word later to save that other person.  But at all times, our goal should be to speak as the Holy Spirit reminds us of truth when we are with the other person.

I never have as my goal to save anyone.

I just have as my goal to yield to the Holy Spirit speaking that which HE shows me God wants me to speak.

God saves one and hardens another.  We just speak as led by the Spirit to speak and God does the work.

But at all times our gratefulness to God for our own salvation brings forth humility rather than pride for we know we didn't do anything worthy of salvation.

And we continue to show God's truth by that which the Spirit brings to our mind.
