* Being led by money can ruin our lives.

(Joan Boney, apostle and prophet of Jesus Christ according to Ephesians 4:11-12)

To take a job to get more money could be one of the worst decisions that we could make.

The most important thing to do is to ask God for HIS wisdom before we do anything.

We, who are of God, must be led by God.

Only when God leads us to do something can we be safe.

God knows the future.

Proverbs 14:12   There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

It is good to pray for God to stop us if we are making wrong decision.

If it is a wrong way to go, I've found God will give me a scripture to show me or God will change my heart on the subject to where I just don't want to do "that" thing.

Sometimes it is better to reduce expenditures than to try to get more money.

Concerning that desire for more money:

I Timothy 6

5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

(When money is your goal)

9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate;

19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

The most important thing in our lives is our soul and the soul of those around us.

Mark 8:36  For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

(Money can put a person into great temptations and sorrow.)

Less can often be more!

I had a house in Texas that was for sale for 1 1/2 years.

In March, 2020, when Coronavirus became known to us in the USA, and we saw businesses close and great fear come upon people, I turned to God in prayer asking, "Is there anything to do about that house in Texas?"

Immediately the Holy Spirit brought this concept to me:  Put the house on a "special sale" for one week, reducing the price.

I did that immediately and the house sold in 2 days.

It seemed that I got so little for the house, but the money made a significant difference and put me in a very sound financial position and gave me great peace in going forward.

God's way is always perfect!

James 1:5   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
