God watches over us

Pam Padgett ... teacher

Over the past couple months I've worked on helping to write and publish a book about using a Kindle Fire table.  I was at my computer for many hours each day.  One day a few days before finishing the book, I had severe pain in my lower back by the time I finished that night.  It was hard to walk.  The pain went away when I went to bed but came back the next day when I began working at my computer again.  I was so focused on the book that I tried to ignore the pain and keep working (I may have taken an aspirin, but not even sure of that.)

The next day as I was walking to the chair at my computer to begin working, a thought came ... to put a pillow in the chair, and also where a pillow was that would work.  I got that pillow and put it in the chair.  There was no pain at all when I sat down.  And there has been no pain since.

I'm sorry to say that I was so focused on the book that I forgot to pray about this pain.  Instead I kept trying to ignore it as much as possible.

But God was watching over me and had mercy on me and helped me in this.

This strongly reminded me how God watches over us continually.  I've been so thankful, not only for the help, but also to be reminded of how God watches over us, even in small things such as this.
