Ruining your life

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

There are so many examples recently of people doing things that ruin their lives or end the lives of other people.  I was thinking about these people recently and I clearly heard the following:

...the whole world lieth in wickedness.  I Jn. 5:19

The worldly people who are lawyers and those persons who sit on juries so often work by the wisdom of men and there is no real justice when they judge and we who are of God often end up disturbed by the court rulings in the various issues because we are of God.  (I decided I would try not to watch court trials on TV and try not to involve myself, knowing this problem with real justice.)

We who are of God long for real justice.  This will happen in the new heavens and new earth wherein dwelleth rightousness.  So we need to keep focused on the new heavens and new earth rather than this present earth for it will not happen here.

II Peter 3 ... But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, 12Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?  13Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 14Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Psalm 62:5 ... My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

I receive many emails from people who call themselves "pastors", asking me for money.  Their expectation is from me.

We, who are of God, are raised up by God and our expectation is from God and we keep our expectation being from God for it is HE WHO assigned us the work.

And the sheep of God, also keep their expectation from God and not from man.

For it is as David said ... The Lord is my shepherd:  I shall not want.  Psa. 23

And God knows all our need even before we ask Him.

Psa. 34 ... O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. 10The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.

So when we think we have a need, we expect God to care for that need.  We turn to God and not to man.  We present our "need" to God in prayer.  We pray ... We connect directly with God through our own prayer ...  And we wait on God and if HE shows us anything to do, we do that.

All wisdom is from God... counsel is from God ... Our "expectation" is from God and we look to Him rather than to humans.

Ministers who use 100-fold return to extort money

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Many ministers use a scripture promising 100-fold return to extort money from the body of Christ.

However they misuse this scripture for this promise has nothing to do with money you would give in an offering.

Mk. 10 ... Then Peter began to say unto him, Lo, we have left all, and have followed thee. 29And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel’s, 30But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

This scripture pertains to those who have the call of God on their lives and leave all in order to fulfill that call of God.  Also this scripture pertains to members of the body of Christ, called by God and set into the church by God.  For each of us follow God by His Spirit.  And often we have to leave certain people who would cause us to go a wrong way.  Certainly 100-fold return applies in this case.  We hear from God by His Spirit and we give up people and things to obey what God says to us.  The 100-fold return applies to us in these cases.  But 100-fold return has nothing at all to do with tithes and offerings.

When a minister uses this scripture in trying to get people to give money, promising them 100-fold return on their "offering", that minister is an extortioner.

Paul says we are to put such an one out of the church ... don't even eat with such a person, says Paul.

I Cor. 5 ... But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. 12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?  13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

Or if you have no power to get rid of the pastor who is extortioner, you just depart from him and stop going to that church group.

Today, many ministers are extortioners.

I'll confess my sins to the Lord

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

For several years in the 1970's, I operated a business in American Indian Arts.  One of the magnificent American Indian potters was Margaret Tafoya.  I was with Margaret after I was born again and she told me the following amazing story.

She took her 7 children out of the Catholic school that was on the reservation and sent them to McCurdy Mission School.  The priest told her she could not do that.  He said she must remove them and bring them back to the Catholic school.  She replied that she wanted them to go to the McCurdy Mission School so they could study the Bible.  The priest replied, "People like you do not need to study the Bible.  We will tell you what you need to know."  Margaret said, "No, I want them to study the Bible."

Then Margaret said the priest got so mad at her and he said, "If you do this, we will put you out of the church and you will never be able to confess your sins again."  (Margaret was obviously very religious, often confessing her sins.)

Margaret said to me, "I don't know what came over me.  I said to the priest, I don't have to confess my sins to a man like you.  I will confess them to the Lord."   And the priest was so angry and put her out of the Catholic church.  But she continued to send her children to the mission school to study the Bible.

With great shame, Margaret told this story to me.  I explained that no man can remove us from the real church.  God adds us to the church and only God can remove one from the church.  And I tried to explain what she did in saying this to the priest was not evil but was from the Holy Spirit.

I rejoiced greatly in this story.  The power of God to deliver us is enormous.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Ecclesiastes 4:6 ... Better is an handful with quietness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

I Tim. 6 ... But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8And having food and raiment let us be therewith content. 9But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness. 12Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Many people follow after money.  Even people who call themselves Christian often follow after money and reputations.  And sometimes they wreck their lives and their homes by taking a job that offers money and reputation rather than taking a job where there is a genuine interest.

Many put themselves to needless trouble by seeking out sales and such where the motivation is "love of money", love of keeping that money.  (It seems wise but is it really a lack of faith in God and a faith in yourself?)

So many wrong choices center around the subject of money.

I Tim. 6 is a warning.  First it tells us godliness with contentment is great gain.  It tells us to be content if we have food and raiment.  We are warned about the pursuit of riches and how much harm can come through this pursuit.

And we are told to "flee" such things.

And we are told what to follow after:  righteousness (what is right in sight of God), godliness, faith, love, patience meekness ...

It is a good time to stop and evaluate your life to see if your pursuits are correct based on these instructions.

Jesus warns us about end times

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Jesus warns us about the end times in the following scripture:

Mt. 24 ... And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you. 5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Many are going to come saying "Jesus is Lord" ... they will come saying they are pastors and other ministers ... They will deceive many.

Do not be deceived, said Jesus.

We, who have the Holy Spirit, will know.  But many in church groups will be deceived by them.

This is the first warning Jesus gave to his disciples when they asked him about the sign of HIS coming and the end of the world.

After I was born again

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

In 1975, the Holy Spirit spoke these words to me:  "Joan ... you know all those mistakes you've been making? ... Those weren't mistakes ... Those were sins."  I was shocked.  I had no idea until this point that I was sinning.

Then a few days after this, I was asleep and was transported into heaven.  I knew I was with God, with Jesus, and with the Holy Spirit though I saw nothing at all.  It was an experience in the Spirit.  At that time, I was "merged" into the body of Jesus (made one with the Word).  A few days after this, the exact same thing happened again to me.

After that I cared nothing about my business.  I only cared about the Word of God.

At my retail business, I began having noontime Bible classes.  I talked constantly to people about God.

My business was American Indian Arts.  One day a man came in wanting to buy a Kichina doll.  He said he was looking for power and there was a superstition that there was power in the Indian dolls.  I took this man into my office and told him there is a power ... a great power ... but that power is not in art objects.  I told him about Jesus and God.

I put writings about God in baskets at the door of my shop.

I put a fish symbol on the front door of my shop.

I put a fish symbol on my car.

The greatest thing that could ever happen to a human had happened to me.  God revealed Himself to me.

I had no idea I was to be a minister.  That came later.  I just wanted to read the Bible and know things of God.

There was a complete change in my life.

That is what happens, change, when God reveals Himself to us by His will.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Luke 9:57-62 ... And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. 58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head. 59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. 61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. 62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

We can't put off the Word of God when it comes to us!

Jonah tried doing that ...

Jonah 1 ... Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying,  2Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me. 3But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and went down to Joppa; and he found a ship going to Tarshish: so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD.

No matter how we try to delay doing the word or speaking the word, God has a way to move things around to cause us to do it in the end.

And when we start the work, we continue in the work, fighting all things that would stop us from doing the work assigned by God.  It is a battle to do the work.

Jesus said:  Jn. 8 ... If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Continue means to go on to a specified course of action / to do and to keep on doing

To start ... then stop ... then try to start again ... will not work.  When you put your hand to the plough, you need to plough the whole field... without looking back.

God helps me greatly!

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

God knows how to reach us to help us in our various troubles.  Often the way He helps is not anything we would have thought about.

I've been so greatly troubled by emails from men who call themselves pastors.  They almost always ask me for money.  I know they are not being led by God when they do this.  For if the Lord is their shepherd, if they are really being led by God to do those works, there will be no want.  Since they express need (want) I know they are not being led by the Lord.

Psalm 23 ...The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

Almost daily they have sent emails asking me to send money for their works.  This grieved me so very much until God gave me the following concept:

The ministers who ask me for money do not have the Spirit of God to led them.  They want to do good works.  So they go to Bible College or Seminary to learn how to be a minister.  They do not have the Spirit of God.  They depend on humans.  They are like the Methodist preachers who just want to do good works and go to school to learn to do this without the Spirit.

This made all the difference to me when I saw this.

Now when I get an email from a "minister", I read the last paragraph first to see what they want.  The first paragraphs usually praise me.  Toward the end of the emails they usually state what they really want.  Usually it is money.  So now I just read the last paragraph first so I can discard the email without going through all the deceptive parts.

Also now when I see they want money, I just delete the email without responding to them.

This gives me much more peace.

I need to leave my email address on our Internet site so you will have an opportunity to share your testimony with the church and so you can share real messages you have heard from God.

Now I can do that even when these ministers misuse our Internet site.  It clearly says to use the email address to share the Word of God.  They violate this and use it for their own evil purposes to try to get money.  But that is to be expected since they cannot follow God without the Spirit of God and they have set out to do good works on their own by their own understand.  Certainly they can't have faith in God to provide so they try to work out schemes to provide for themselves.

They are as the following described in Jude ... But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; 18How that they told you there should be mockers (imitators) in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. 19These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.

They "separate themselves" seeming to give up the world to do good.  But they do not have the Spirit of God.  They are just trying by their own way of thinking to do good.  They set up a list of good sounding works to make others think well of what they do.  They try to do these good sounding works.  They get into financial trouble and turn to humans begging for money.

It frees me from them to understand these things. I do not fret over them anymore.  They are just trying to do good without having the Spirit of God.  Now I just delete their email and go on without feeling need to correct them.  Without the Spirit of God, nothing can be done for them.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

Nahum 1:7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

The only thing strong enough to be a anchor in times of trouble, is the word God speaks to us by His Spirit.

When trouble comes, I never hunt a scripture.

When trouble comes, I pray.  After prayer, if God chooses to give me a scripture, then I have that anchor upon which to stand.  Usually God gives this to me by calling a scripture to my mind in the situation.  The Holy Spirit reminds us of everything Jesus has said ... (Jn. 14:26)

Our flesh might want to run to a person in the day of trouble but real help is in God so we learn to run to God in prayer in the day of trouble.  And we learn to wait until God shows us what to do.

Challenging what I say

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Recently a woman rose up to challenge what I was saying to her.  She quickly read a writing I had done where is had said opposite.

I was horrified in what I had done.

Then God got my attention to something Paul said where it seemed he contradicted himself.  I found it in Galatians 6 ...

Paul said:

Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.  Gal. 6:3

Then a few verses later, Paul said:

For every man shall bear his own burden. Gal. 6:5

By failing to understand me, she quickly reached out to challenge me rather than taking what she didn't understand to God and letting Him show her.  By doing this she almost caused me to erase the first writing which seemed to contradict the second writing.  But before I could erase the first writing, God showed me both were true though they seemed to contradict each other.  I left both writings.

What this woman did was very dangerous for she could have stopped the word of God.  But God didn't allow this to happen.

I brought all this to her attention and she repented.  I asked her if she knew what was happening in her life that might give entrance to such acts as this for this is the second time in a few weeks she has done this where I am concerned.  I don't need to know what is wrong in her life to open such doors to Satan but I think it would be good if she could see if she is doing something to cause this to take place.

Regardless, I told her to stop doing this.  It is dangerous and could be a deadly thing for her to do.

She knows I'm called of God.  She has seen the things God has done through me.  She has seen the suffering I go through for the word given me by God.  She knows I'm called and anointed by God and am an apostle and prophet.  To reach out this way against me is very foolish for her to allow to happen and it must be stopped.

I was reminded of two things:

II Chron. 16 ... He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, 22Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Gal. 6:17 ... From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

You might not realize I am truly anointed by God.  You might not know that, like Paul, I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

But she knew this about me.  So she must not do this unless she is completely convinced God has told her to do such.  In these cases she just acted on her own thinking and her own impressions and did not take the matter to God for His judgment.

Another in our church group, had a questionable thought when I shared something but she took it to God and was reminded of a scripture which showed her to back off ...

II Kings 2 ... And he (Elisha) went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them. 25And he went from thence to mount Carmel, and from thence he returned to Samaria.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

1 Peter 4:19 ... Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney... apostle/prophet)

Paul explained:  all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.  II Tim. 3:12

If you are trying to live godly, following God, by Christ Jesus, THE WORD OF GOD, you will suffer persecution.

All who do this will suffer persecution.

I've had so many times when people have "demanded" that I stop speaking ... This is not unusual when it happens. (It does hurt and brings grief, for the people who should love the word spoken hate that word spoken by the Spirit through prophets of God.) And usually these people are religious leaders in their church groups.  It is exactly the same way it was with Jesus when HE spoke and they tried to stop Him and the way it was with Peter when they commanded him not to speak in "HIS" name ... and the prophets in the OT went through this all the time.

The Word is the offense to them.

As long as we go along with the evil, the people are happy.   When we turn on the light the darkness objects, thus the persecution comes.  For most of us the persecution comes without physical abuse.  We are mentally abused.

But because we are persuaded the way we are going is of God and that which we are speaking is of God, we suffer their abuse against us.  We pray, committing ourselves to God ... but it still hurts and we still have to fight a spiritual warfare to do the will of God in the situation.

But God always restores my soul when I turn to HIM with their words.

Ad agencies promoting famous ministers

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

When I went on radio in 1980, my pastor (Robert Tilton) recommended that I allow his ad agency to promote me.  This was the Michael Ellison advertising agency who represented Kenneth Copeland, Marilyn Hickey, and had been representing Jimmy Swaggart.

At that time, I found the "big-time" ministers had ad agencies.  Billy Graham had an ad agency representing him at that time and did others who were famous or becoming famous.

The purpose of the agency was to put you into positions where you would have a big audience and many radio and/or TV broadcasts in the prime time spots in the industry.  These agencies had a lot of power with radio/TV stations to get the best locations for their clients.  They also went into town ahead of your meeting and arranged to get local pastors to promote your meeting in their congregations.

So what is wrong with all this?  I found out quickly the answer to this question.

First, the ad agency told me they could fill Soldiers & Sailors auditorium in Pittsburgh for me ... "Just one thing ... Don't say anything to offend anyone."

Jesus said:  Lk. 12:50 ... Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: 52For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. 53The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

The word of God divides ... Light divides from darkness when we speak the word of God.

Paul says:  II Tim. 3 ... Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

And a primary work of prophets is to deliver correction messages to people in the congregation.  These messages often get prophets killed.

Jesus said ... Mt. 23 ... Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: 35That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. 36Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. 37O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

The second thing the ad agency required of me is that I not send anything out to anyone unless they had read and approved the writing.  (I did not agree to that either.)

The third thing the ad agency wanted me to do is to put this on back of my envelopes:  "Send me your prayer requests" ... I was horrified and told them immediately I didn't want to do that.  They were shocked when I said this.  I explained that the individual is to pray.  That individual does not go to God through me.  The individual goes to God through Jesus Christ.

The ad agency replied:  "Well ... you're missing a good bet for when they send prayer requests they often put money in the envelop".

After my refusal to do all these things, the agency informed me that they had to release some of their clients and unfortunately I was one they selected to release.

I was devastated.   I knew I was in the big-time ministry.  Now I had failed.

But in my sorrow, God gave me the following to show me the truth about the situation.

Mt. 4 ... Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; 9And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me. 10Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Amazingly, what looked like failure was actually success!

I'm so grateful to God that once again I was delivered by HIM.

Scripture: Shared by body of Christ

James 4:6-7 ... But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.  7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Exhortation:  (Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet)

Submit yourselves to God:  Turn to God in prayer each time a negative thought, destructive thought, comes.  Pray, asking God about that which came to your mind.  Turn to God in prayer when an idea comes which would lead you to do a "good" work.  Pray, asking God if that is what HE wants you to do.  The devil also brings good ideas to us for the devil is an "angel of light" and the work can seem religious. (II Cor. 11:14 ... And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.)  Pray, asking God what HE wants you to do. Try the idea through prayer, asking God what HE wants you to do.

After prayer ... when God brings something to your mind by HIS Spirit use this to resist the devil ...  The gates of hell will not be able to stand against that word that is revealed to you by God.  (Mt. 16)

After you do these things, the devil will flee from you ... for a season.  When Jesus was tempted by the devil, Jesus resisted the devil with the word and the devil departed from Jesus "for a season".  Lk. 4:13 ... And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

Delivered by destruction

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

In 1980, God spoke the call letters of a radio station and within a week I was on radio.  Within a few months I was on radio in about 14 cities from coast to coast in USA.  I received thousands of communications per month from radio audience.

In 1981, I had the following dream:  There was an established piece of land.  I saw it as a piece of land extending out into the ocean.  All of a sudden, one piece broke and slid into the ocean.  Then another went, then another, then another ... and I heard these words ... "It will be all right through January, but in February it will break loose."

I reported this dream on my radio broadcasts.  February came and went and we did not see this happening.
Hundreds of people left me.  I was called a false prophet by many.

There is just one thing none of us caught at the time about this dream:  I heard the month, but I did not hear the year.  We assumed it would happen in February of 1982 and we expected it to happen then.

At the time, it was very difficult for me.  But evenually I realized the fact that I did not hear the year this would happen.

During the next 30 years, I became almost invisible in the ministry.  I still had contact with a few of the radio audience which was spread from NYC to Seattle.  I communicate by writing material sent by US mail ... and I made recordings on CD's and distributed them to the former radio audience.

Then in March, 2012, I had a dream which caused me to go on Internet and do these writings.  And the messages go all over the world instantly on the World Wide Web.

I still look for the events of the dream of the February vision to happen, and often I approach the month of February wondering if this will be the year it happens.

But overall, the reporting of that dream in 1981-82 caused me to be delivered from the "big-time-ministry".  I became free.  And today I am very grateful this happened.  It was very difficult at the time.
