πŸ’₯ We walk by faith, not by sight. (2 Cor. 5:7)

There are times we know God has spoken to us.

One day, God reminded me of something a woman in our church group said.  It concerned the 2 1/2 months I was in a rehabilitation hospital in Texas after a fall in December 2018.  She said, "I had no charity toward you."

I knew it was God who revealed this to her.  And I knew by God revealing this to her, she was saved, born again.  For God spoke to her to reveal her sins just as God has spoken to each of us to reveal that we sinned in various ways.

I know God spoke to me in 1975 to reveal to me my own sins when HE said:  "Joan ... you know those mistakes you've been making all these years?  Those weren't mistakes.  Those were sins."

God opens our eyes to see things as HE sees them and thus God causes us to be born again!

Salvation is of God, of that which God says to us.

Focus on that which God has said to you.  Our faith is based upon that which God has said to us.

The apostle Paul was changed instantly when Jesus spoke to him.

Acts 9

1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, 2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven: 4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou ME?

5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord

And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt THOU have me to do?

And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

When Jesus spoke to Paul, he was born again instantly.  Now Paul could see things of God.

Paul did not return to his old way of life, to the priests he once obeyed.  Now Paul obeyed God and did that which God told him to do.

We know when God has spoken to us!

John 10  (Jesus says:)

4 And when HE putteth forth HIS own sheep, HE goeth before them, and the sheep follow HIM: for they know HIS voice.

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

(God speaks to us.  The devil brings thoughts to try to make us doubt what God said.  But we know it was God speaking and we cling to HIM and the Word which HE spoke to us.)

9 I am the door: by ME  (Jesus, the Word) if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

(Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin.  Heb. 9:22   Who shed his blood for your sins?)

John 10  (Jesus says)

27 MY sheep hear MY voice, and I know them, and they follow ME:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of MY hand.

29 MY Father, which gave them ME, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of MY Father's hand.

(No man nor spirit is able to turn us from God for we know HE spoke to us. Thus we have faith in what God said to us.)
