2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

First, we live the truth, living scriptures in our own lives.
Then we speak truth, not handling the Word of God deceitfully.
Some twist the truth to try to justify sin, and by that, salvation is hidden that no one is saved.
For example: Homosexuals often appear on television and say they were just born that way.
Here is the truth from the Spirit of God by the Holy Bible.
Romans 1
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Mark 10 (Jesus says) But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
From the Bible we know truth from God by the sight of God on subjects pertaining to this life and the next life.
If we hide the truth to make an individual feel good about himself, then we hide salvation which comes by truth from the Scriptures,
When God opens our eyes to see truth and to know our sin, then we can be saved, born again.

My mother loved horoscopes and read them all her life and read "my horoscope" to me.
After I was born again, I read this scripture to my mother one day as the Holy Spirit called it to my attention.
Deuteronomy 18:9-13
10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch,
11 Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.
12 For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
13 Thou shalt be perfect with the LORD thy God.
My mother was quiet for a few seconds and then she said: "Well ... I guess we'd better not do that anymore".
She was born again instantly upon hearing the Word of God and seeing her sin and turning from that sin.
