Confess Jesus

Joan Boney ... apostle/prophet

Romans 10 ... 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

We confess Jesus with our mouth each time we speak truth of the word.

When we say, "The man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery,"  we confess Jesus, the Word.  (Mt. 5:32)

When a woman said to me you cannot pray unless you have the Holy Spirit, she confessed with her mouth a lie.

For the truth is the example in the Bible of Cornelius.  Acts 10  Before Cornelius had the Holy Spirit we read the following account concerning Cornelius ...

1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

An angel of God appeared to Cornelius and said to him:  him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

God had Cornelius send for Peter who preached to Cornelius and his household although Cornelius was a Gentile.

The Holy Spirit fell on Cornelius and household.

If we become carried away with emotions and tears and confess a lie with our mouth we are always in danger and accountable to God for that which we said from our heart whether it be a lie or truth.

So be careful what you have in your heart and conform it to the Bible.

For that which you allow into your heart you are likely to "confess" with your tongue.

And if you do not control your tongue, your religion is in vain.  James 1:26

So we must fight to hold onto the faith in God and the truth of the Bible.  Emotion and devils will try to pull us away.
