I Peter 1 ... 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again
unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4
To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not
away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
At
the time God reveals HIMSELF to us, God does a magnificent, perfect
thing. God also puts HIS Spirit inside us to comfort us and teach us
and help us and show us HIS way to go on this present earth. By the
Holy Spirit we are made one with God and with Jesus. By the Holy Spirit
we can know the heart of God on the issues we face in this present
life.
It
is as if we are walking on a path, down a road. If we start to veer
off to right or left, we are pulled back onto the road by the Holy
Spirit, by that concept brought to our minds by the Holy Spirit. All we have to do is follow the instructions put into our minds by The Holy Spirit, choosing HIS way.

Peter ... 8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as
a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:9 Whom resist
stedfast in the faith,
No matter what it "feels" like or "looks" like, we will not be destroyed so long as we hold fast to our faith in God.
I Jn. 4:4 ...Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Cling to HIM and that which HE has brought to your mind.
Emotions come and go and are of the flesh of man.
The word of the Lord endures forever!
So in hard times, cling to the Word of The Lord. It will endure. You will endure.
