God Speaks To Us Through His Angels
Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. 21 Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions:for my name is in him.
22 But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak;
then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine
adversaries. 23 For mine Angel shall go before thee,

January 10, 1980 … I was asleep in the night … A voice like a loud trumpet sounded three words in my ear: Hartford, Seattle, KWJS …
I jumped out of bed and wrote “KWJS” on a note pad. KWJS was obviously either radio or TV.
(I believe the voice speaking to me was the voice of an angel of the Lord … it was incredibly strong in force.)
Within 5 days, I was on radio KWJS speaking exhortations to the church.
I had never heard a Christian radio broadcast. I told God, “I’m not a speaker … I’m a writer.” But God chose radio at that time for me. Now I get to write!
I believe sometimes the words that are spoken to us are words carried by angels. (I suspect the angels are laughing at me as I write this.)
Angels are often messengers of God, carrying God’s word to us.
Of course, we have many examples in book of Revelation of angels doing mighty works.
Angels are very powerful.
A few years ago, I had a dream, I believe showing angels. I was taken to a place and there was a small bridge and a “man” (angel) was standing there on the bridge as I walked across. The angel called me by name and said, “We’ve been waiting for you.” I replied, “Do you know me?” He replied, “Everyone here knows you.”
Then we were in a very nice room like an English library. There was a long table and 7 or 8 “men” (angels) were sitting at this table. They were examining precious jewels. Then one man (angel) said, “Then it is settled… We’ll go help her.”
At the time of this dream I was doing judgment messages on radio. At a meeting in Seattle the radio station manager, who had always been very friendly to me, was waiting outside the meeting room. When I approached, George came toward me. There was no smile on his face. He said to me, “Joan … you have many fine messages. Just speak those messages. If you keep speaking these judgment messages, I don’t know what is going to happen to you. We might have to put you off the air.”
Without any thought at all, the following from the Holy Spirit came out of my mouth:
“George … If I don’t speak the message I believe to be from God then I don’t have a message and I may as well be off the air.”
This was the defining statement for the remainder of my life.
You cannot soften nor water down what God wants spoken. You cannot compromise in any form what God speaks through you.
Every time I deliver a judgment message I know those angels in heaven are watching and rejoicing over the message!
Revelation
8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. 3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand. 5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth:and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
When I think of angels, I often think of Elisha and following:
II Kings 6 … And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice. 11 Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel? 12 And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.
13 And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him.
And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan.
14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.
15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do?
16 And he (Elisha) answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
17 And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.
We, who are of God, have the Holy Scriptures, the Word of God, the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, the angels of the Lord …
No wonder the apostle John said:
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them:
because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
