Podcast: Mark 4:3-20

Jesus says

3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

4 And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:

6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Jesus explains:

Mark 4

14 The sower soweth the word.

15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.

16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;

17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,

19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.

20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

II John (Reading through the Bible)

The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;

2 For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever.

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.

I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.

And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

And this is love, that we walk after His commandments

This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

(I think this has something to do with thinking you do not have to do the commandments of God today. It is definitely antichrist to fall away from scripture.  II Thessalonians 3-4)

Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

12 Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

13 The children of thy elect sister greet thee. Amen.

πŸ’₯ Chapter 8: A word spoken to me in 1983.

The meetings were growing in size from a beginning of approximately 150 people to over 2,000 people per meeting.

I had just completed a series of meetings in Seattle and was on the airport bus heading to my plane going to Dallas when God said to me:  "The foundation is laid ... Now we're really going to move!"

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

On the plane, returning from another church meeting a few days later, God said to me: "The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God ... The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God ... The time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God."

I had no idea what that might mean ... but soon I would find out!

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

God began reminding me of several big-time radio and TV ministers ... and things they had done ... and as a prophet I knew I would likely have to warn them for that is part of the work of a prophet of God!

Ezekiel 3:14   So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.

***

Ezekiel 4

And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at MY mouth, and give them warning from ME.

18 When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

19 Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

20 Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

21 Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

22 And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and HE said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I asked God if there was any place in the New Testament where the blood of one person was required if they did not speak a message from God to an evil doer in the church.

Acts 20

And from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church.

18 And when they were come to him, he said unto them, Ye know, from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have been with you at all seasons,

19 Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

20 And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

21 Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

22 And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there:

23 Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me.

24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.

26 Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men.

27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

First, God reminded me of Jimmy Swaggart, and the way he had come to the advertising agent, Michael Ellison, because he, Swaggart was tired of the small audiences at his meetings and he asked Ellison what he could do to get bigger crowds.

Ellison told Swaggart to stop preaching so much and do more singing and piano playing, entertaining the audience.

Swaggart did this and the number of people attending Swaggart's meeting rose from approximately 400 to over 2000 immediately.

The message I had for Swaggart from God:  "Stop entertaining the people and return to preaching."

When I could not get this message to Swaggart, I felt God showing me to give this message on my own radio broadcasts which were coast to coast, naming Swaggart by name.  (Then he would get the message.)

Apparently the message reached Jimmy Swaggart.

Swaggart owned 2 radio stations.  One in Dallas-Fort Worth and the other in Houston.  They threw the switch on both stations and cut me off the air immediately!

***

(About 1/2 of my 15 stations put me off the air during the following weeks as I spoke what God showed me about the big-time ministers.)

In Seattle, outside my meeting room, the radio station manager was waiting for me.  He said:  "Joan ... you have many "good" messages.  Just speak those.  If you continue speaking these judgment messages I don't know what is going to happen to you.  We may have to put you off the air."

The Holy Spirit arose in me, I replied:  "George ... if I don't speak the message I believe to be from God then I don't have a message and I may as well be off the air."

Seattle stopped the broadcasts.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Finally I stopped the radio broadcasts.

I had no more heart for broadcasts.

I continued sending messages by US mail to the radio audiences who continued with me.  (There was no internet at that time.)

It was to change in March, 2012, when God gave me a dream which showed me to start writing a blog.  (Internet had come to USA.)

I had heard of this thing called Internet.  And I saw a blog on a computer on the movie "Julie and Julie".

As I watch the movie and saw this thing called "blog", I though, "How exciting ... I wish I could do that ... but I don't have anything to say.(She was writing a blog about cooking Julia Child's recipes.)

***

A few nights later, God gave me a dream.  A woman was singing.  I said, "It's a nice little voice.  A little voice, but a nice little voice."

God was showing me a blog ... and to start writing a blog for the ministry exhorting the church.  I called Pam Padgett who just retired as computer programmer at Fed Ex.  I asked Pam if she could start a blog for the ministry.  She said she didn't know anything about blogs but she thought she could set up one and if she couldn't she knew someone who could.  Good enough!

We were publishing a blog, Jesus Ministries Exhortations, in 3 days.

The first day, we had 2 people from Germany go to our blog.  We were so excited.  We didn't realize the blog went all over the world ... as in WWW.

Since the last week in March, 2012, to current date, we have published 16,686 exhortations and have 1,649,776 downloads.

It costs no money to publish blog.

Indeed:  It is "a nice little voice."

Podcast: For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (James 2:26)

God taught me to hear HIM by HIS HOLY Spirit and to do what the Word said to do by believing it was God speaking to me when it was God.  The voice of God is different.  I have found it to be pure, peaceable, gentle, easy to be intreated, just as it says in James 3:16.

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

I attended a church called, "Word of Faith," in the late 1970's.  I thought they were doing that which God taught me to do about faith.  I thought they were like me and I was like them.  But the teacher of our Bible class said, "You were never like us.  We talked about faith.  But you lived faith."

This Podcast explains what he was saying.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I John 5 (Reading through the Bible)

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth Him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of Him.

(Jesus, the Word, is the Messiah.  We are saved by the Word when we believe the Word and act on that scripture.)

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep His commandments.

For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments: and His commandments are not grievous.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
.
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

This is He that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water (the Word), and the blood: and these three agree in one.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which He hath testified of His Son.

10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made Him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of His Son.

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.  (the Word)

12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

14 And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, HE heareth us:
15 And if we know that HE hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.

16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

πŸ’₯ Chapter 7: God sends HIS angel to tell me the exact ministry I am to pursue.

On the night of January 10, 1980, I was awakened in the night by a very loud voice speaking 3 words into my ear while I slept.  "Hartford, Seattle, KWJS"

I jumped out of bed and wrote those words on a note pad which I kept by my bed.

I felt those call letters were likely either radio or TV identifications and I really didn't want to mix up those letters.

When I looked them up, I found KWJS to be a radio station which presented Christian type exhortations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

I said to God:  "Are YOU telling me to go on radio?  I'm a writer, not a speaker.  I wouldn't know how to do that."

The Holy Spirit said:  "Call the radio station manager."

That same morning I called KWJS radio station and asked to speak to the manager.  He came to the phone immediately.  I said to him, "God might be showing me to go on radio.  How would you do that?"

He replied:  "Make an audition tape 29 1/2 minutes long.  Send it to me and if you fit our programming, we will offer you a contract."

***

I made a recording as soon as I got off the phone and took it to the post office and mailed it to the station manager.

Within 5 days, I was broadcasting 30 minute exhortations weekdays on KWJS radio.

***

A woman named Lilly McBride had been praying for KWJS to put a faith teacher on radio at 12 noon weekdays.

She was listening to her radio when a woman started speaking at 12 noon on KWJS.  Lilly cried out ... "OH no, God. Not a woman."

Lilly jumped up and headed toward her radio to cut the broadcast off.  But before she reached the radio, she became interested in what I was saying and she sat back down and listened and became a life long "fan" and supporter of my broadcasts.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

In a month or so, I went on radio in Houston and then in Oklahoma City.

God gave me a plan whereby I could add several radio stations simultaneous.

I called it:  "Purchase a city."

For a one time offering of $1,000, I would go on radio in a city of the listener's choice from a list of cities in USA. (This would pay for the first month of broadcast in that city and I would go into the city and have a meeting and take offerings to continue the broadcasts in that city.)

Within a very short time, I added radio broadcasts in the following cities:  NYC; Washington, DC; Philadelphia; Pittsburgh; Detroit; Minneapolis-Saint Paul; Denver; Seattle; Eugene, Oregon; Bakersfield, California; Los Angeles; Phoenix.

A total of 15 cities (including the original cities of Dallas-Fort Worth, and Houston, and Oklahoma City.

(That angel of the Lord said to me:  Hartford, Seattle, KWJS ... showing me cities from east to west coast in USA and cities in the middle.)

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

After 4 weeks of broadcasts, I would rent a meeting room in the city and go into that city for a 2 or 3 day meeting.  This gave me closer contact with the people in the radio cities.  Each year, I divided the USA into 3 areas East, West, Central and had tours three times per year into the radio city.

God gave me messages on these subjects:  Taking thoughts captive; Dealing with destructive thoughts; Following the Holy Spirit by Faith; Meditating and doing the Word of God.

People seemed very interested in learning to do these things.

Podcast: God will shake the heavens and the earth

Hebrews 12

26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now HE hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Revelation 21  (The new heavens and new earth)

1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.

4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

5 And HE that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

Psalm 111:10  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do HIS commandments: HIS praise endureth for ever.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

I John 4 (Reading through the Bible)

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

(I think this means those who confess the scriptures.)

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is HE that is in you, than he that is in the world.

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

(We live through Jesus, the Word, as we do that Word brought to our minds by the Holy Spirit.)

10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that HE loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is perfected in us.

13 Hereby know we that we dwell in Him, and HE in us, because HE hath given us of His Spirit.

14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as HE is, so are we in this world.

18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

19 We love Him, because HE first loved us.

20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

21 And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

πŸ’₯ Chapter 6: God teaches me ministries of apostle and prophet

Ephesians 4:8;11-12

Wherefore HE (Jesus) saith, When HE ascended up on high, HE led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

11  And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

At the time I was born again, August 5, 1975, I owned a small business in American Indian arts. I had 3 very competent women working for me.  I could stay at my apartment and study Bible, with God teaching me by His Holy Spirit.  They only needed me to come into the shop to do appraisals of Indian art works and I also had to make trips to the reservations in New Mexico, USA, to purchase American Indian jewelry and pottery for the shop.

I attended a prayer group at a home in my neighborhood which turned out to be very strongly used by God to teach me to minister gifts of the Holy Spirit (I Cor. 12).

One day at the prayer group, the women were standing in a circle, holding hands, and praying, with head bowed and eyes closed.  I heard these words:  "Look up."

On a blank wall, I saw a vision.  It looked like someone had drawn with a marker a "body part.".  I said to God, "I know that's a part of the body, but I don't know which part."  I heard:  "Stomach".

"Oh yeah.  It's a stomach."  I recalled the old Pepto-Bismol ads on TV.

When the women stopped praying, I said, "Does anyone have a stomach problem?"

One woman began jumping up and down and shouted out:  "I do ... I do!"  (in a very excited voice)

(This was my first experience with the spiritual gift, "word of knowledge".  I Cor. 12)

4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as HE
(God) will.

Later when I attended the singles Bible class, at Word of Faith church, the teacher would always say, "Does anyone have a word from the Lord." God would often give me "word of knowledge" which I would faithfully present at that time.

Proverbs 18:16  A man's gift maketh room for him ...

(By the gift and my presenting that information, the church saw I had some type of call of God on my life.)

God revealed exactly what the ministries were to which I had been called, although I never told anyone about these 2 offices.

I knew prophet was one of 2 offices to which I was called and taught by God.  God had been teaching me about prophet and the work of a prophet since I was born again in 1975. Also I had been operating in the spiritual gifts which made that office clear to me and to others who were aware of the Bible concerning prophets.

Then one day, God said to me, "I have called you and set you in the body of Christ as an apostle ..."

"Apostle?" I cried out. "What's an apostle?"

God would make this clear to me in the coming months.

(When I was taken into heaven twice, I believe I was ordained to minister to the church in two offices, and in approximately 1978, God was revealing to me these two offices, apostle and prophet.)

In approximately 1978, on a Sunday morning, my pastor at Word of Faith, Robert Tilton, said to the congregation from the pulpit: "Joan Boney is not a teacher.  She is a prophetess."

Don Gelino who taught the singles class jumped up and said,  "That's it!  She's a prophet."

(Don had many times during the years started to tell the class that I was called as a "teacher" ... but Don said he had a "check" in his Spirit and held back from saying "teacher".)

I never told any one that I was also an apostle.  (Ephesians 4:11)

I went to Don once after God told me I was an apostle.  I asked Don, "Who are the apostles at this church?"  (He seemed surprised at my question.  Although this church professed to believe Ephesians 4, they didn't seem to have apostles operating in the ministry.)

Don replied, "I don't know."

I asked him, "What do the apostles do in the New Testament church today?"

Don said something that I knew wasn't right.  God would have to teach me.  And God did teach me.

God took me to Acts 15. There was a disputation over church doctrines.  Apostles discussed the scriptures and made rulings for the church to live by.  Today, apostles deal with questions that arise at church and try to turn individual back to Bible, comparing scripture with scripture to arrive at truth.
