The other day I was reading an online article and saw a couple of things presented as facts which I thought were untrue so I did a little research and found that, indeed, they were false.
This made me think about how often recently I have seen things written or heard things spoken which were not true. We know the world is becoming more and more evil the closer it gets to the return of Jesus. And certainly this explosion of lies we see today is a sign of these last days.
As I was thinking about how easily people lie today with no regard for what they are doing, I heard the words “valiant for the truth.”
I was pretty sure this was a scripture and found the following…
Jeremiah 9:3 And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not ME, saith the LORD.
What does being valiant mean?
Valiant - possessing or acting with bravery or boldness: carried out with courage or determination
We must have the courage and determination to speak truth when we communicate with others whether it is a spiritual or secular matter being careful this is what we are doing.

Very true Barbara. I am becoming more aware of the falsehoods put forth in the world each day. So important to guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Matthew 24:12 (Jesus speaking of the end times) And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
After reading what Barbara shared today, I heard, "the love of many shall wax cold". The scripture above speaks of iniquity abounding.
Iniquity- deep-seated moral corruption, a deliberate turning away from God's ways, and a persistent pattern of wrongdoing, immoral, wickedness.
People are turning away from God's way and therefore the love of the people have waxed cold toward things of God. This includes the love for the truth, living in truth and speaking truth. It is a definitive sign of the end times.
