💥 Watch ourselves that we may be found ready for the return of Jesus

Matthew 6:18-21 ( Jesus said):   Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

 

No matter what projects we involve ourselves with here on earth, it will all be destroyed at the end of this earth. We need to watch and sometimes protect ourselves from ourselves.  There is nothing on this present earth that is worth risking being ready for the return of Jesus.

 
Matthew 24:42   Watch (watch ourselves) therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come

2 Peter 3:14  Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and blameless.
