1
The apostle Peter tells us 3 things we need to do continually while we wait for the return of Jesus:
2 Peter 3
10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of HIM in peace, without spot, and
blameless.

Romans 14:19  Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.
We know by the Bible we enter into "the days of vengeance" when we see Jerusalem surrounded by armies.  Jesus tells us then we know the destruction of Jerusalem is near.
And Jesus says if you are in Jerusalem at that time, come out, flee!
If you are without, don't enter.

On October 1, 2024, missiles struck 3 cities in Israel.  Jerusalem was one of the cities attacked.  Iran says they have much more destruction planned in future for Jerusalem.
What does the Bible say:
Luke 21:20-22
20  And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

21 Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

πŸ’₯  Also, watch for signs in the sky, weather events.
We've seen abnormally high temperatures the past few years in many parts of this world.  I believe it is God controlling the weather to bring about HIS will.
Forest fires in California, Australia, Amazon rain forest ... Hurricanes on east coast of USA were abnormally intense in 2024.
Humans try to explain such away, blaming humans for that which they do on this earth, trying to solve some problems by forcing people to switch to electric cars.
I see these as futile efforts, because I see God causing weather events as a prelude to other things to come when God brings HIS wrath upon this world in the great tribulation.  (Rev. 8, 9, 16)
πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯
God brings the great tribulation upon this earth as judgment upon man for his sins and his refusal to repent from his wicked ways.
In the days of Noah God judged the world for such.
Jesus says in the end of the present world it will be like it was in the days of Noah.
Matthew 24  (Jesus says)
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but MY words shall not pass away.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

The apostle Paul tells us what people will be like toward the end of this world.
2 Timothy 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

3 Without natural affection
(homosexuals, lesbians, abortionists) , trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,

4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯
πŸ’₯  The apostasy comes into the churches as scriptures are discarded and doctrine of Christ are changed from the Holy Bible.
2 Thessalonians 2  (The great falling away)
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
***
While I was reading this scripture in 1982, God said to me:  "The falling away are not people leaving the churches, but the falling away of the end times are the churches leaving scriptures and setting up other doctrines."
Often I have heard older Christians say it is so "watered down" now at their church.
Antichrist comes into the church when scriptures from the Holy Bible are discarded and no longer followed in that church group.  All over the world I have seen this happen to individual churches.
All these things of evil announce the wrath of God that is to come at the end of this world.
And Peter tells us to be diligent to live in peace, without spot and blameless.
 πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯
πŸ’₯  More and more as we wait for the coming of Jesus, we choose to separate ourselves from those persons who say they are Christians but cast aside scripture from the Holy Bible.  We cannot live in peace with them.  We are troubled each time we are around them.  (But this does not mean to divorce your husband or wife for the apostle Paul tells us "if he be pleased to live with us let us not put him away."
I Corinthians 7
12 But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

13 And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother o
r a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.
πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯
2 Corinthians 6
16 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean; and I will receive you,

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
(If a person troubles me each time I speak with that person, I usually just calling the troubling person.)

Pay attention to that which is brought to your mind by the Holy Spirit.
Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Matthew 24  (Jesus says)
4 Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in MY name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
They deceive many because they say they are Christian.  But in works they deny Christ, the Word, and live by their own preferences.
Matthew 7:13-14  (Jesus says)
13   Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
