Sadly, in church groups, I've seen individuals who say they are Christians who are living as homosexual and lesbians, thus denying the word of God.

The Bible teacher at one of the churches that I once attended, admitted that he was committing fornication and frequenting bars in his "private life".

One divorced woman pretended to be a single unmarried woman in the church group while she looked for another husband at the church.

One deacon at a Baptist church was soliciting sex from unmarried women while he had a wife and children at home.
This is almost an indescribable evil in the church. And several in the church knew he was doing this while being in the church and even as a deacon.

13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

TV preacher Jimmy Swaggart was caught with a prostitute. He made a tearful plea on his TV program saying, "I have sinned."
Instead of putting Swaggart out of the church, the Assembly of God said, "We must pray for brother Swaggart." and they allowed him to continue preaching.
Paul said put him away from you and don't even eat with such a wicked person. (I Cor. 5)
About two years later, Swaggart was caught with another prostitute and then he said, "It's none of your business what I do." (Wikipedia)
Then the Assembly of God church "defrocked" Swaggart but he went right on with his big-time TV "ministry", with thousands of viewers.

These people profess to know God but by works they deny HIM.
